Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce that my company is now an officially registered limited liability company. My sister finished the paperwork today (she's a paralegal working on becoming a lawyer), so it's a done deal.
So bust out the bubbly and PAAAAR-TAY!!
Please look forward to future awesome games from my company!
I can't wait to get my hands on this system. And to think that a Sony game system launch would have so many high-quality games available at launch. Compare that to the DS which in so many months has barely a handful of games worth paying $30-40 for. I really hope Nintendo doesn't fall too far behind Sony, I really do.
Anyway, on to the screens!
Wipeout Pure
TRON GET!
Twisted Metal: Head-On
I think I'll be getting Wipeout, MG Acid, and Lumines at launch. If I can afford them.
For those of you girls that are crying like little fucking babies, this thread is in Ramble because it makes thing easier to access, and it's just for mine and GR's stuff since we make images so damn often and the attach images thread is too full. I'm going to delete this post tomorrow, as well as all of your little whiny posts.
Quote: In an Interview granted to Libération, Eiji Aonuma de Nintendo, which in particular took part in the development of many shutters of the Zelda series, reveals some very interesting information concerning next Zelda on GameCube and Nintendo DS.
Eiji Aonuma (Nintendo) 'There will be without any doubt Zelda for the DS. In fact, you appear that the reflexions which we developed around Four Swords largely contributed to the reflexion which we had to conceive the DS. The concepts with work in Four Swords formed part of the examples that we experienced while thinking on the possible plays for the DS and the advantages that the double screen allows. It was theoretical but today, it would be very a shame, and even ashamed, that one does not make the opposite demonstration: a truth good Zelda on DS. The next episode of Zelda conceived for GameCube is already completed but I can absolutely nothing say some moreover. You know the house: even the title and the topic are still secret. This next large Zelda, which makes continuation with the WindWaker episode chronologically, will leave to Japan at at the end of 2005. I am engaged to 200 % in his development and I can betray one secrecy of it: it will be very, very beautiful.'

Holy fuck if true. Would Nintendo really wait until the end of the year to release it though? It would sell well no matter what time of the year it's released, but perhaps they don't have anything else for the holiday season? Although... if Mario 128 and Mario Kart Arcade get released for the GC by the holiday season, perhaps we'll be getting the new GC Zelda sooner than we expected! WOO!!!
Oh and notice that he said that this new Zelda takes places right after WW. That would be cool if true.
Mario Kart Arcade GP
- 6 Worlds 24 courses
- Rewritable Card
It'll be revelead tomorrow at AOU, and it's being developed by Namco. 24 course... that's more than DD. Craziness! It better get ported to the GC! Perhaps that's one of the GC surprises that Reggie hinted would be shown at E3. Woo!
Quote:Not everyone has to wait around to hear details of Microsoft’s sexy new Xbox 360—and now, thanks to Kotaku, neither do you. An exclusive Kotaku source has revealed a bevy of facts about the next-generation console set to rock the Xbox world.
The original Xbox was a manly chunk of square black-and-green plastic meant to win over a generation of hardcore male gamers. The Xbox 360° will be about winning over gamers of all persuasions, with a customizable look and a kindler, gentler Circle of Light marketing campaign.
Our inside source says that the console is a sleek silver device worthy of countertop display, and features an inhaled design that turns the harsh angles of the original Xbox into sweeps and curves. The device will also be able to stand upright or on it’s side, much like the Playstation 2. The side of the 360° is dominated by an oversized, back-lit power button called the ring of light, and the rest of the case can be customized with colorful designer face plates that pop on and off. The 360°s dashboard will also be customizable, making each console a thing totally unique to its owner.
Some of the inner workings of the 360° have also been confirmed. The device will feature high definition audio and video and wireless controllers, and will come in two flavors—one with a hard drive and one without. The biggest shock is that while Microsoft wants to make their 360° backwards compatible, they haven’t yet been able to pull it off.
“They’re working on it,” said our source.
Retarded name (that's been rumored for months), but I like the idea of it being lighter colored and slimmer. The whole ring of light thing sounds retarded though.

So... what do I think? Mostly good. A few of these things are bad -- do we have to redownload all the officially released add-on maps again if we want them to still be signed as Blizz maps? Looks like it. :( Also, I really liked the fact that ladder was Fast. Not Fastest. I really dislike Fastest and have never been very good playing at that speed... I'm not great at Fast either, but at least I can do that. Ladder was the one refuge from everyone playing stupid Fastest and now that's gone too... okay, I don't exactly play SC online very often. But still, it's too bad.
Other than that, it's all good. Well, I really love Lost Temple so changing it is weird, but the original version is still accessible (this just changes the Ladder version of the map, I'm pretty sure), so it's not that bad. And some of those changes are good -- moving the top center base enterance farther from the edge of right's upper left cliff, recentering all the base locations for better access to the resources (it was not balanced), etc... top is still disadvantaged with their base enterance, but it's not nearly as bad now.
