The idea of using Chernobyl as the setting for an FPS where you fight zombies, mutants and other such things is a great idea. About an hour ago I came across this site that has pictures from an exploration this woman made into Chernobyl not too long ago and that place looks creepy as heck. It's a huge town that's just completely empty and in decay. Hopefully they can pull this off because it has a cool Half-Life 2 look about it.
Quote:Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith represents the closing chapter of the epic Star Wars saga. Closely following the storyline of the upcoming movie, players will have to choose their paths between light and dark, playing either as the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi or Anakin Skywalker.
The DS version of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith features 3D action multiplayer gameplay and touch screen control. Other key features include: 3D space flights, wireless multiplayer up to four players, and three singleplayer modes.
It combines 2D side-scrolling goodness with some interesting looking 3D space battles.
I'm a bit rusty using Java...rusty meaning I remember almost nothing about programming in it. It's been over 4 years since I did anything other than short little Javascripts, but they aren't the same as full-fledged Java. What I need to do is write a program that will ask the user for four inputs: the principle, the interest, the unit of time, and the amount of time. It will then compute the compound interest and create a graph based on the data obtained. Any hints as to what I will need to do would be greatly appreciated. I don't think I've ever created graphs in Java so I'll have to be trying that out cold.
Gessle Wrote:I just purchased the magazine and I'm posting some new info:
- The story begins with Link as an adult (he is 16 years old in this game and will grow up as the game progresses)
- The village that appears in the pics is the first area in the game (as Kokiri Village in OoT)
- Controls are similar to those of OoT and Wind Waker
- The game's extension is 2 to 3 times bigger than Ocarina of Time
- The adventure can last up to 70 hours
- Horse battles will be a main part of the game
- Eiji Aonuma says: "Making the water trasparent in this new Zelda as opossed to Wind Waker will allow us to give a realistic and more beautiful feel to the game and also open the game to a new subaquactic world"
- Z targetting found in OoT is again used (with the L button in the GC's controller)
- Jumping is again automatic
- Eiji Aonuma wants the graphical style to be close to manga-style (he thinks that the Link found in the SpaceWorld 2000 demo looked like a puppet and lacked personality)

As for the DS info, the pic is actually from Zelda Four Swords GC. Aonuma says that Zelda DS will be Four Swords-based, with wireless multiplayer and some touch screen control. Asked about the connectivity between Zelda DS and Zelda GC (stupid question, as DS cannot connect to GameCube), Aonuma says that it is unlikely (what else could he say?).
