Today, Nintendo announced that not all Wii Channels will be available from launch.

We know for a fact that Wii will be getting the Photo Channel, Mii Channel and Wii Shop Channel.

But, Nintendo has stated that Wii will get the Forcast Channel on the 20th of December, while the News Channel will arive on the 27th of January next year.

Nothing was said about the Internet Channel (Opera Wii) but we can assume that it will be available as Opera said it will be available right from launch, and it should be available through the Shop Channel.

Well, as we leave the GameCube consoles life, one of the preeminent Nintendo-dedicated news sites has evolved to fit the new gen.

This is interesting. More than that, it's nice to hear an actual scientist talking. How can you tell? In a way that's more sound-bitey than actually logical, he admits it probably won't work. But really, that's science for you. Don't presuppose it, do the test to find out!

So yeah, it probably won't, and he'll accept those results (unlike SOME people out there, you listening ESP researchers who haven't accepted results for over 100 years?), but if it does, he should know the moment he starts the experiment when he recieves a message telling him it worked.
