It actually looks pretty cool, I'm surprised! I guess Nick Gillard's help really... helped. Now we just have to cross our fingers that it'll control as well as it looks! This could be cool.
Oh and beware of beginning-of-movie spoilers in the trailer. They give away the first 15 minutes of the flick.
Okay then... According to this, I won a DS, if I only submit myself to whatever weird whims this company wants.
There are two options. One, this is some time share thing I have to sit through for like 12 hours to get it. Then, I take the MYSTERY BOX instead because I am dazed and constupified. Second, this is just a total scam and somewhere along the lines if I actually sign up they are going to ask for credit card info or money in some other form. I'm leaning towards the second, but I'll go ahead and go through this sign up process UNTIL the money is asked for (at which point I will proceed to virus bomb these people). But, if it's the former, well, I think I can actually stand to sit through some boring arse presentation for a free DS.
Anyway, back on topic, have each and every one of you also recieved this thing? Considering their PROMISE they have some place in my zip code, I'm still certain it's a scam, but hey, anyone else got this thing?
The DS is two weeks away and Rayman is launching with it, yet we still haven't been told what it's going to be like. All we got was a doctored screenshot (that used an n64 screenshot). I don't get it.
Midway announced a fourth Rush game, LA Rush, in late August... wow... only for PS2 and X-Box so far, but given that the other three Rush games came out on N64 and that after a long delay Midway eventually did announce MK Deception for the Cube, we probably stand a decent chance of initially getting this game...
All I can say is, I really hope it lives up to the past titles. Rush 1 was a fantastic game, Rush 2 was a quite good racing title, and Rush 2049 is one of my favorite games ever... maybe my favorite racing/vehicular game ever (with its main competition being F-Zero X and F-Zero GX), I'm not sure... so it has a very high standard to live up to. But if it can... well, I'll be looking forward to hearing more about this game regardless. Another aspect of Midway's obvious effort in recent times to improve back to the level they were once at, I guess.
It could of course also end up mediocre and forgotten, and there's definitely a solid chance of that (after all, this isn't the Rush team that is making the game!), but for now I'll choose to remain hopeful...

There's stuff from Geist, Star Fox Assault (which is looking awesome), Odama, and everything else your heart desires*!! Most importantly, check out the first video for the Mario Party 6 commercial. It comes on after the Tennis stuff.
Remember that awesome Banjo Pilot transformation? When it went from mode 7 to awesome voxels?

Well it went back to mode 7, and it doesn't look too good. If the DS weren't coming out I'd still get it, but with Mario Kart on the way, what's the point?
