I'm cautiously optimistic about a lot of things. Jurrassic Park, The Terminatron, lots of stuff, but well... we'll see...

I too am very curious about a Kingly Quest return.
These were $5 each, buy 3 get 1 free, so $15 total.

PS2
--
Hot Shots Tennis - Complete. The PSP Hot Shots Tennis game is great, but this first game isn't quite as good (fewer features!). Still fun, though.

Xbox
--
Kung-Fu Chaos - no manual (and an Xbox 360 case too, I think, with the games' sleeve and disc in it -- it's 360 clear green, not Xbox solid green). Solid 4-player fighting/beat 'em up game along the lines of Power Stone.

ToeJam & Earl III - Complete. I didn't actually have any of the games in this series before getting this one... now I do, though! I'm somewhat interested in the series, but not nearly enough to pay the inflated prices for the Genesis games. Nice to find this one for cheap.

Test Drive - silver re-release case (complete). I got a copy of this once, but the disc was too scratched to work (and it was disc only too, no case). Finally got another one, hopefully it works better! This was Pitbull Syndicate's last Test Drive game. I'm sure its decent fun, as all of theirs are (4, 5, 6, and this one are their four Test Drive games).
The Steam sale ends soon, so I got a whole pile of cheaper indie stuff that was discounted, mostly well over 50% off.

PC DD - Steam sale

Waking Mars - $2 - platform/adventure
Tachyon: The Fringe - $3.40 - space sim (classic game from the late '90s)
StuntMANIA Reloaded - 1.24 - driving platform/racing - Game not listed on IGN
RefleX - $4 - shmup
Real World Racing - $1.80 - topdown racing - Game not listed on IGN
Astebreed - $5 - shmup
Gigantic Army - $3 - like Cybernator - Game not listed on IGN
Gunhound EX - $3 - another game like Cybernator
Gunman Clive - $1 - run & gun (2d)
Love - $1 - platformer w/ Atari-esque graphics - Game not listed on IGN
Cloudbuilt - $4 - Third-person 3d platform/shooter (parkour)
Lili: Child of Geos - $3.60 - adventure (simple exploration/action game)
Drunken Robot Pornography - $3.74 - first-person shooter w/ shmup elements
Magical Drop V - $1 - puzzle
English Country Tune - $0.50 - puzzle
Puzzle Dimension - $0.74 - puzzle/platformer (ball maze style, like Roll Away for PS1)
BC Kings - $0.50 - RTS - Game not listed on IGN
Contraption Maker - $1.50 - Incredible Machine style puzzle game (from the original games' creators) - Game not listed on IGN
Zeno Clash - $1 - weird first-person beat 'em up
The Binding of Isaac - $0.66 - bizarre and messed up action-rpg (this is the original Flash version, not the newer remake)
Playstation 1
--
The Unholy War - complete, $11 - interesting strategy game
Breakout - complete, $5 - One of the few Hasbro classic remakes I don't have (I like most of them!)

Game Boy Color
--
Croc - complete, $5 - 2d platformer. The GBC Croc games aren't great, but I love the 3d platformers (PC/PS1/Sat), so I got this anyway; this is the last of the four Croc games that I didn't have, though I do still want a Saturn copy of the first game, to compare it to the PS1 release (and the PC version would be cool too, on PC I only have the second game... and both for PS1 of course.).

Also I got a couple of things for free with the above purchases (B3G1 plus a bonus), below:

Xbox 360
--
Bulletstorm - free, disc only

And last, an Ultra Racer controller for the Playstation. It's a neGcon-compatible one-handed controller that is for racing games. Having more things that work with neGcon games is good.
Wii
--
De Blob 2 - $5, complete - sequel to the pretty good 3d platformer

DS - all card only
--
Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja - $9 - mysterious dungeon style game (been wanting this since its release)
Galactic Taz Ball - $2 - sort of like Pac n Roll, but with Taz...
Anno 1701: Dawn of Discovery - 2.70 - building sim (simpler than the PC game though, for sure, as usual on DS)

Xbox 360
--
Guilty Gear 2: Overture - $6, complete - action/strategy game, oddly enough
N3 II: Ninety-Nine Nights II - free in a buy 2 get 1 deal (would have been $9), complete - hack and slash action/beat 'em up game
Assassin's Creed - $11, complete. Yes, the first one. Finally convinced myself to try it. It was a part of the B2G1 deal, which helped; wouldn't have gotten it now otherwise.
Star Trek: Legacy - $1, disc only
Prey - $1, disc only

Xbox (original)
--
Splinter Cell - $1 - the first game in this stealth franchise
Sega Master System
--
Wonder Boy - cart in case (no manual), $10 - The better console version of this popular mid '80s platformer. I've never liked this game too much, but it's definitely a LOT better on SMS than it is on NES (where it is known as Adventure Island). I actually have had some fun playing this, which makes it quite a bit better than Adventure Island for sure. Still though, this is my least favorite Wonder Boy/Monster World game; it's alright, I guess, but simplistic, repetitive, and frustrating -- the controls are so slippery! There is also only ONE music track in the game, and it gets old. Only a couple of environments too, and little obstacle variety. Still, it looks nice and plays okay. Plus... infinite continues! That makes this version much more forgiving than Hudson's NES adaptation. But the four Monster World games which followed this one are so amazing, it does suffer in comparison to its successors. Monster Lair is really great too, I love that game. I don't love this... but it was definitely worth getting, it's a classic and it's much more fun here than on the NES. Because of the infinite continues and moderate fun factor I might try to beat it.
We were on vacation for the weekend, but stopped at a mall on the way back and I got a couple of cheap things.

Wii
--
Arcade Hits Pack: Gunblade NY & LA Machine Guns - complete, $3.60. A pack of two Sega arcade light-gun games, in their only home-console release. I've wanted to try this (Sega's lgiht-gun shooters are mostly great fun!), and the price was good. These games are from the '90s, so they're much older than, say, Sega's Ghost Blade or House of the Dead Overkill for Wii, but they're still good games for sure.

DS
--
Prey the Stars - $1.60, card only - Weird Japanese action game. Haven't played it yet, but it looks kind of interesting.
PC
--
Crime City - $1, jewelcase release. This is an adventure game from Impressions that I hadn't heard of before. The game is from '93, but this is a 1995 jewelcase-only release by GT Interactive. It's a detective murder mystery game, as the name suggests; not my favorite thing, but Impressions made interesting games, so I got it because of that. Game not listed on IGN.

I also got, for $1 each, two fairly good-sized 3.5" floppy disk holders. I have several smaller ones that we'd been using since the '90s, but they were full and I had some other disks lying around, so I thought that it'd be nice to consolidate them into these. They've got lots of empty space, and don't look great, but definitely are a big improvement over several different cases and various disks lying around because I didn't have places for them all. (Yes, maybe I could get rid of the numerous disks that are either dead or useless now, all those home-made bookd disks and dead disks that I'd put stuff on and the like, but... nope, not going to do that. :) And at least many of the official game disks still work.) Unfortunately the shelves aren't tall enough to put 5 1/2" disks in, so I'll still need that separate case for my small-ish 5 1/2" disk collection, but this is better than what I had before, and for $2 total the price was low.
Playstation
--
Syphon Filter 2 - $3, complete - The first one was decent, I'd like to try the sequel.

Xbox 360
--
Devil May Cry 4 - $1, disc only - I've never really played the DMC games (maybe tried a store demo of one of them once) and it doesn't seem like something I'd care for, but for a dollar I'll definitely give it a try; it has been a quite popular series.

PC
--
Unreal II: The Awakening - $2, jewelcase only
PC DD - These bundles all come from BundleStars.com. Lots of games for cheap. I ended up getting five bundles; sure, it included some games I don't want, but I only got the bundles that seemed worth it because they had games that I DID want and were worth that price combined (not considering the other stuff).
--
Voyager Bundle - $3 (available for two more days): Syberia, Syberia II, Voyage: Journey to the Moon, Curse: The Eye of Isis, Syder Arcade (game not listed on IGN), Wasteland Angel, Obulis, Haegemonia Double Pack. I already have that last game, but not the rest of them. BundleStars gives you separate keys for each game, so does anyone want Haegemonia? It's sort of like Homeworld. Yes, I haven't played anything of Syberia besides the demo, back when the game released in '02.

Born 2 Race Bundle - $2.50, runs out today: Little Racers STREET, Mini Motor Racing EVO, Pressure, Street Racing Syndicate, Race Injection (game not listed on IGN), Race On, RACE: The WTCC Game + Caterham Expansion. I have the Xbxo 360 (Indie Games) version of Little Racers STREET, but it's a fun top-down racing game, and I"m happy to have it on PC as well. I mostly got this for Mini Motor Racing Evo and Pressure, though. They are two more top-down racers. Pressure particularly looks cool. As for the other stuff, SRS is a mediocre tuner game (also on consoles), and Race (with several addons) is a sim I doubt I'll ever really try to play. Didn't get this for those.

Fully Loaded Bundle: $5. Wrack, DARK, BlazeRush, Onikira: Demon Killer (game not listed on IGN), Super Toy Cars, Magnetic By Nature (game not listed on IGN), Silence of the Sleep (game not listed on IGN), The Joylancer: Legendary Motor Knight (Early Access Game) (game not listed on IGN), The Detail Episode 1 (game not listed on IGN), Z: The Game. Of these. Dark and Onikira are pretty bad, don't get this for those. As for the rest, The Joylancer is a promising NES/Game Boy-style indie platformer. Z is a mediocre remake of a '90s classic RTS. Super Toy Cars is another top-down-ish racing game, though it also has a behind-the-car perspective. BlazeRush is a topdown racer, and looks great, I really want to play this one. Wrack is a '90s-styled FPS, lots of good impressions about this one. Magnetic by Nature is an interesting 2d platformer. As for the others, we'll see.

Reboot Bundle 10 - $3, available for another week or two I think. Xotic Complete (inc. 3 DLC), 8BitBoy (game not listed on IGN), Fortix 2, Ignite, Space Farmers 2-Pack (game not listed on IGN), Vector, Jet Car Stunts, SOL: Exodus, Residue: Final Cut (game not listed on IGN), Rush For Glory (game not listed on IGN). This bundle I mostly got because Jet Car Stunts sounds like an amusing TrackMania knockoff. As for the other stuff, SOL: Exodus is a space combat game, I'd love to try another modern one of those. Rush for Glory is tower defense. I do like the genre. 8-bBit Boy is another of those hard 2d platformers. Why not? And Residue: Final Cut sounds kind of interesting; it's a platform/adventure game with a unique story (set in the dried-up Aral Sea). Oh, Fortix 2 is a Qix clone. Sequel to a PSP indie game that I have. Simple fun Qix stuff, this looks like more of the same. Vector's a 2d parkour platformer, we'll see. Ignite I have already, that's another extra key; it's a decently fun arcade-style racing game. Xotic is an FPS. No clue if it's good or bad. And Space Farmers is another one of those stupid crafting games.

Reboot Bundle 4.0 - $3. Tropico Trilogy, Hard Reset Extended Edition, Combat Wings: Battle of Britain, Inquisitor Deluxe Edition, Zeno Clash 2, The First Templar. I already have Hard Reset, so that's another extra. Good FPS. I mostly got this for Tropico and Inquisitor (an oldschool isometric RPG), though Zeno Clash 2 is also of interest. I always have meant to get a Tropico game sometime, but never had done it... that's not my favorite kind of game, but they are fun sometimes. The First Templar sounds bad, wouldn't have bought that otherwise.
This stuff was all bought with a gift card and some money I got for Christmas, so it's sort of a christmas gift I guess. From a gamestore I've been to a lot. I also got a $10 discount on the final price, because when you spend $100 you get $10 off (there's a card). That helps with some of the otherwise slightly-above-minimum-ebay-price games (eg the two Dreamcast games I got). Though if we're talking about overall value, the good deal on Road Avenger should make up for that on its own, probably.

NES
--
Starship Hector - $8, cart only. This is a Hudson shmup. Nice find; Hudson's shmups are mostly good to great! I've been wanting this.

Genesis
--
Jurassic Park - $3, complete - I doubt I'll like this all that much (I expect an average Western platformer with some annoying blind jumps), but I've been wanting a cheap copy of JP for the Genesis for quite some time now, both because I have a lot of the other '90s Jurassic Park games but not the first two Genesis ones, and also because I remember playing this game back in the early '90s and it'd be fun to have again. I was happy to finally see a cheap copy, and complete too. It's nice to see that the game does have a password save system, though. I'd forgotten that it had that.

Sega CD
--
Road Avenger - $10, complete (disc (without jewelcase, but I think it was just a blank case, so no loss) and manual in the original cardboard box - Yes, I finally have a copy of this FMV classic! Some people insist that this is the best FMV game ever. Well, we'll see. It's a Dragon's Lair-style animated FMV game from Data East. Hit the buttons at the right time to keep playing. I kind of hate Dragon's Lair, so I doubt i'll like this either, but Time Gal is also from Data East and is kind of amusing, so hopefully it'll be decent. I just hope it has prompts telling you what to hit; what I hate the most about Dragon's Lair are how many versions don't give you any clues, turning it into a pure guess-fest! I think this one does give you prompts, though, which is great. Looks like I got a pretty good deal for a copy with the box, too.

Dreamcast
--
Bangai-O - $40, complete. Yeah, it was expensive, but I had that gift card and I know this game is great, so I went for it. It IS great to finally own this classic Treasure shooting game... it's really fun.

Red Dog: Superior Firepower - $15, complete. Red Dog is one of those third-person tank action games, in the same genre as stuff like Recoil, Tiny Tank, etc. There were a bunch of these in the late '90s and early '00s. It's too bad that the genre went away, because I quite liked them. Argonaut's Red Dog is one of the better ones, and I'm thrilled to finally have it! I first played this game years ago, and it's great, but didn't actually own it until now. Price is a little high, I guess, but oh well; haven't seen this game in person in a long time.

And finally, I got a Sega Saturn Stunner light gun for $10. It works great. Awesome find, it's always great to have another light gun, because light gun games are always so much better with the gun than with a d-pad or analog stick. I have several Saturn lightgun games that should work with this gun, including Virtua Cop 1 and 2, Maximum Force, and the gun mode in Scud. I tried it with Virtua Cop 2... I don't know if I did any better than usual, but it was more fun than with a controller. :)
Atari 2600
--
Dark Cavern - cart only, $1. This is a pretty decent Mattel game. It's a downgraded port of the Intellivision game of the same name. It's a maze action game, endless as usual on the 2600.
Genesis
--
Star Trek Deep Space Nine: Crossroads of Time - $3, cart only. This is a side-scrolling platform/adventure game that's more of an adventure game than a platformer. It's by Novotrade, interestingly (Ecco the Dolphin), but got mixed reviews. We'll see what I think.

Gamecube
--
Hello Kitty Roller Rescue - $5, complete - After looking up a bit about this game, I thought it looked amusing enough to be worth this low price (it goes for more online).
It's really a shame there aren't any good Hello Kitty games. I mean, my niece loves that franchise, but when it comes to games, what really stands the test of time? Nothing, that's what!
Yeah, going by review scores, this average Gamecube game might actually be one of the better Hello Kitty games... but considering that licensed games are often bad, and licensed games for girls are often even worse than ones for boys, I guess that's not too surprising.

Game Boy
--
Maru's Mission - cart only, $2. This game is one of the few Ninja Jajamaru-kun games to get a US release. It's a fun side-scrolling platform/action game. Great find for cheap!

Playstation 2
--
Castle of Shikigami 2 - $7, complete. I have the first game (for PS2/Xbox) and the third game (for Wii), but didn't have this second Castle of Shikigami game. Well, now I do, and for a reasonable price too. I don't love this bullet-hell shmup series, but they are fun enough to own, and this game has some hilariously bad English voice acting, too! Good stuff. :)

Playstation
--
Puzzle: Star Sweep - $4, complete - Decent little block-dropping puzzle game.
Jigsaw Madness - $3, complete - Jigsaw puzzle game. Could be decent?

They had a bunch more interesting PS1 games too, including more budget puzzle games and some other stuff, but I got only the ones that were both cheap and looked potentially good.
Atari 2600
--
MASH - $1, cart only. The cart has a mostly-torn-off label, which is why it was only a dollar. Got me a pretty decent 2600 game for cheap, which is nice. This game has two screens, one where you rescue guys with a helicopter, then occasional ones which play like the board game Operation (don't touch the walls!).

PC
--
Mystery Legends: Sleepy Hollow - $1, complete - This is a hidden-objects adventure game. Not my favorite kind of game, but for only a dollar I thought it'd be worth a try; I have a couple of hidden-objects adventure games for the PC, and they can be alright.
I got a complete (game+sleeve+box+manual) copy of Jackal for the NES for $3. I already have a loose copy, but that's really cheap for a complete copy (I just looked it up, it's at least $11 complete, including shipping, on ebay.), and Jackal is a pretty good game, so I couldn't resist! I'll sell the double (or the original, depending on which cart is in better shape), I don't need two.

Also:

PSP - DD (PSN)
--
Guilty Gear XX #Accent Core + - $2, currently on sale on PSN this weekend. There are a bunch of games on sale, but I don't have a PS3, Vita, or PS4, so it's nice that they still put some PSP games on sale too... including this pretty good one. I've wanted GGXXAC+ ever since it came out, so it's great to finally have it. I still also want the PS2 (or Wii) version, because it'd be nice to play it on a TV, with easier multiplayer, etc., but I'm sure this version will be good, I have both of the PSP BlazBlue games and they're great. The "Plus" version is nice because it actually continues Guilty Gear's story for the first time since Guilty Gear X, I believe.
Xbox 360 Digital Download
--
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen - $10, on sale. This is a game I've really wanted to play ever since I got a 360, so I got it once I saw it's on sale this weekend. Looks like an interesting game.

Also, for $50, I got a 500 GB Xbox 360 hard drive a few days ago. It's great to finally have one, that 4GB space wasn't nearly enough. I downloaded everything I've got, and all of the games I have are only 130GB total... interesting. I thought it'd be more.
N64
--
Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko - $6, cart only - Seems fun, surprisingly. This game has some issues, but so far I'm liking it a lot more than the second game. Being on N64 instead of PS1 (that's the version of Gex 2 I have) might help too, of course. This is definitely fairly average stuff, but it's an okay 3d platformer.
I got three more bundleStars bundles; one expires in a few hours, the others in a week or so. They were $2.50 each; nothing amazing here, but enough decent-sounding games (mostly cheap indie stuff) that I thought they were worth the quite low bundle prices.

PC DD - games from 3 bundles, $2.50 each (so $7.50 for all of this)
--
Puzzle Bundle:
IGT Slots Paradise Garden - Don't care, didn't get this for this. (Game not listed on IGN.)
Millie - Good-looking arcade action game -- sort of like Pac-Man or, even more accurately, Go! Go! MileSmile (an old arcade game). (Game not listed on IGN.)
Dungeon of Elements - mediocre-looking puzzle game (dr. mario style) (Game not listed on IGN.)
School Bus Fun - logic puzzle game (Game not listed on IGN.)
ReignMaker - another mediocre-looking puzzle game (this one match 3)
Lexica - Hard crossword/sudoku game (Game not listed on IGN.)
Puzzler World - Various world/number puzzles
Puzzler World 2 - More of the above (IGN lists for 3DS only)

Insert Coin Bundle:
Super Lemonade Factory - Generic indie 2d platformer (IGN lists for iOS only)
Drive to Hell - Not-great-looking shmup (Game not listed on IGN.)
Avoid: Sensory Overload - Pretty fun 3d dodge-the-stuff-coming-at-you game. This is the main reason I got this bundle. (Game not listed on IGN.)
Dogfighter - Multiplayer flight combat game no one is playing.
Retro / Grade - Looks like a shmup, but unfortunately it plays more like a music game so I don't care about this even though it got plenty of good press (I hate music games!)
Just Get Through - Another generic indie 2d platformer. (Game not listed on IGN.)
BiT Evolution - Yet more of that. Looks like maybe the most fun one of the three here. (Game not listed on IGN.)

Trinity Bundle: (named for all games being PC/Mac/Linux)
Shiny The Firefly - Cellphone port platform thing. (IGN lists for WiiU/iOS only)
Legends of Aethereus - 3d hack-and-slash indie Action-RPG which got poor reviews.
Sentinel - Tower Defense game with some music theme
KR-17 - Good-looking 2d action/platformer game (I've seen this one before this bundle and it interested me)
Eradicator - Decent mid '90s FPS, could be fun
Nam - Another '90s FPS, but this one much more realistic-themed; doubt I'll care for this one.
Revenge of the Titans - Another tower defense game (I love TD!)
iO - Cool puzzle/platformer game where you change the size of the level to get your object through to the end (I've heard of this one before too, and it looks good) (Game not listed on IGN.)
Stronghold 3 Gold - I like the first few Stronghold games, but by reviews this is the worst game in the franchise. That's probably why it's in this bundle. :p Still, hopefully it's at least worth playing a bit of. It does look nice at least, visually.
Pixel Boy and the Ever Expanding Dungeon - Topdown indie action/RPG. Looks okay I guess. (Game not listed on IGN.)

Each bundle has some games I don't care much for, but enough decent ones to justify them.
Xbox 360
--
Otomedius Excellent - complete, $9 - This game may be a little cheaper on ebay, but this is as cheap as I've seen it locally, and the price isn't much different. I wanted the 360's shmups, and this is the last of the five or six that got physical US releases; I have the others (the two Raidens, the two Cave games, and Senko no Ronde if you count it). It's a not-the-best Gradius/Parodius-like game from Konami with scantily-clad anime girls. They go a bit overboard with that here, it'd have been nice to see normal Gradius or Parodius instead. Still, it's a Konami shmup, so of course I have to have it; Gradius is my favorite shmup series.

Nintendo DS
--
XG Blast! - $3, card only - This is a pretty solid Geometry Wars-like twinstick arena shooter. Looks fun. Just like the DS version of Geometry Wars Galaxies, it supports dpad+buttons or dpad/buttons+touch for aiming.
Xbox
--
Mercenaries - $1, complete - third-person open-world shooter published by Lucasarts.

Also, I guess I forgot to mention it, but at the end of December I re-subscribed to Xbox Live Gold. So, more free-with-Gold Games with Gold titles for the Xbox 360 to add. Again I'll only list the 360 ones, because I don't have an Xbox One and because those games are temporary, only playable as long as you subscribe. If I ever get an Xbox One maybe I'll list the ones I have but with an asterisk or something.

X360 DD - Free from Games with Gold
--
SSX
MX vs. ATV Alive
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Sniper Elite V2
Tomb Raider

I already have Tomb Raider, The Witcher 2, and Brothers for PC, but I won't refuse additional free copies of the console versions, why not. I resubscribed for SSX as much as anything, though; I've really wanted to play the game, and it seemed a good way to get it (it's not as cheap used as I'd like). It's a good game, I like it for sure. Being able to play online games on the 360 is nice too I guess, though I quite irregularly do so.
X360 - DD - Free from Games with Gold
--
Bioshock Infinite - Yes, the current GwG free game is another big one, Bioshock Infinite. Tomb Raider (2013) and now this? They're giving higher-value stuff at the moment...
Found some pretty cool stuff.

32X
--
B.C. Racers - $4, cart only - BC Racers is a below-average kart racer game from Core. The original Sega CD is slower-paced and probably more fun, this version is probably a bit too fast. The controls are worse too. Still, this is one of only three racing games on the 32X, so I should have them all. It is okay though, even if it's not as good as it should have been. This game requires a lot of memorization, as it is on 32X.

Shadow Squadron - $11, cart only - This great game has been my most-wanted 32X game for a long time, and I'm very happy to finally have a copy of the cart! I've played the game before and did cover it in my 32X thread, but didn't own it... but now I do. This 3D space combat game has good graphics and gameplay, it's sort of like Star Wars Arcade but better. Great game.

PS2
--
Shining Force Exa - complete, $15. I quite liked the previous game in this series, Shining Force Neo, so when I saw this for what is, for this game, a reasonable price, I got it. I hope it's as fun as Neo is, that game's actually a solid little Diablo-style game. This was the last of Neverland's three Diablo-esque action-RPGs -- the first is the Lodoss War game for Dreamcast, and the two Shining Force games for PS2 are the other two. Unfortunately the studio has since shut down.
Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast and Furious is was just released, and is currently free for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One (download). It's a promo game crossover between the new Fast & Furious 7 movie and Forza Horizon 2; they're calling it a standalone expansion. It'll apparently be $10 for anyone who doesn't pick it up for free during the next few weeks. So yeah, I got it. I mean, it's free, so why not? I haven't watched the movies, and the games aren't quite my thing based on the little I played of the demo, but for free I'll give it another try.
Xbox 360 DD - 'Free' from Games with Gold -- it's double games this month, so four for the 360, two now and two more in the second half of the month!
--
Terraria
Gears of War Judgment

(On Xbox One, the free-as-long-as-you're-subscribed games are Pool Nation FX and Child of Light. Yes, I get these, I might have an X1 someday.)
Okay... it's been six months, but I got Japanese games again from ebay.

Sega CD
--
The Heroic Legend of Arslan - complete, $1.00. This is a tactical strategy game ("SRPG" type based on the anime/manga series of the same name. It looks good, but I haven't played it yet. Sega published this one.

Record of Lodoss War - complete, $2.80. This is another "SRPG" tactical strategy game from Sega based on an anime license. I like the anime and have both of the Turbo CD games, so why not get this one too? I wonder which one of these games is better...

Silky Lip - $14.25, complete. This is a somewhat sought-after magical girl RPG from Riot (Telenet). Hopefully it's worth it. - Game not listed on IGN.

Dreamcast
--
Tricolore Crise - $2.25, complete. This is an anime-style RPG where you play as a team of three girls who have to save the world, or something like that. Hopefully it's fun! Low price too. There is some help on GameFAQs for some of the menus and how to play the game and such. - Game not listed on IGN.

The Rhapsody of Zephyr - complete, $5.76. This is a Korean RPG with strategic battles. That is, you move around in the world with square-based movement, it's not just menu-based stuff. Looks like it could be good.

Strikers 1945 II (Value Edition) - complete, $10.50 - I have the US version of this, and have since 2006, but I got this because the Japanese version has tate mode support, while the American version, annoyingly, does not. Vertical shooters with tate support are always better in tate mode! It makes a real difference. (My US copy is a loose disc, so it's also nice to have a case, but I didn't buy it for just that.)

Playstation 2
--
Summon Night 4 - complete, $4.00. I now have at least one version of all five of the main strategy ("SRPG") Summon Night games, which is cool. This is a great franchise. I don't have the handheld ports of the first four games (1 and 2 are on DS, 3 and 4 on PSP), but I have the originals (PS1/PS2) of all four, and 5 on PSP. Of course I also have all three of the GBA Tales-esque action-RPG Swordcraft Story titles (the first two in their US versions, which were the games that first got me interested in this franchise), and the DS topdown action-RPG Twin Age, and the PS2 topdown-style action-RPG Ex-Thesis as well. Other than those four parts, all I'm missing are the second PS2 action-RPG, Gran-Thesis, and the DS traditional RPG, Tears Crown. I'll get at least those last two for sure, I'd like to have the whole franchise. And they are fun enough to be worth getting too. They're not the deepest games, but that helps when there's a language barrier in most of them; only the first two GBA games and Twin Age have English-language releases.

Mahoujin Guru Guru - complete, $1.00. Cute kids' anime license RPG from Enix. - Game not listed on IGN.

SFC game lot - loose carts of Ruin Arm, Breath of Fire, Jerry Boy, The Great Battle II: Last Fighter Twin - $3.76. Breath of Fire I don't want, I have a US copy of the game, but the other three are why I got this (and the low price too, though shipping adds to it of course). Jerry Boy is the Japanese version of the US game Smartball. It's got some towns between levels, for more story than the US game has and some breaks in the action. Nice. Ruin Arm is a topdown action-RPG. The Great Battle II is a giant robot anime licensed beat 'em up. Looks like decent fun. Ruin Arm and Last Fighter Twin are not listed on IGN.

Nintendo 64
--
Bomberman 64 - cart only, $24.50 - This is not the US Bomberman 64, this is the Japanese game from 2001. It sells for this much or more. It's a 2d-style Bomberman, and also includes a full version of Panic Bomber as well as Bomberman, which is cool.

Game Boy
--
Monster Maker 2 - $2.25, complete - This is an RPG. It's a somewhat interesting card-RPG with this neat card-flipping look as you explore dungeons. - Game not listed on IGN.

Vattle Giuce - cart in plastic case only, $5.50. Yes, only $5.50! Loose copies of this game usually cost a good $25 or more. This is a quite good shmup with a cool two-layer design, sort of like a predecessor to Vertical Force (VB). I don't know how people missed it, maybe it was the misspelled auction name, but it was pretty nice to get for cheap, and the game is pretty good. The graphics are great too.

Gameboy cart set - Little Master, Little Master 2, Ranma 1/2: Netsuretsu Kakutouhen, Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun: Bangai Rantouhen (three with plastic cases) - $5.50. I mostly got this for the last game, but I'll definitely play all four of these. The first two are two Japanese strategy games, of the "SRPG" variant. They look decent to good. The Ranma game is a side-scrolling adventure / beat 'em up hybrid. Interesting mix! It has a guide on GameFAQs, making it quite playable. Of course I like the anime, and have kind of wanted to try this one. And last, the Kunio game is a fun, classic beat 'em up. It was released in the US as "Double Dragon II", with everything turned into Double Dragon but with the same levels, enemy patterns, etc. I think I like Kunio more as a franchise than Double Dragon, so I got this version; it was fairly cheap too, and I haven't seen a cheap copy of Double Dragon II locally. - The two Little Master games are not listed on IGN.

Game Boy Color
--
Minnie & Friends: Yume no Kuni o Sagashite - complete, $7.50. Why did I get this? I'm not sure. I saw it was from Hudson, and I like many Hudson games, so I decided to give it a chance. It's an adventure/minigame collection thing.

Grandia: Parallel Trippers - complete, $4.45. This is an RPG. I mostly got it because Grandia is a great game, and this game brings back Grandia 1's cast. The game does have guides and such, so it's playable. Looks pretty nice for the GBC as well.

Turbografx 16
--
Crest of Gaia - complete, $3.00. This is a hex-based strategy game with a fantasy theme. It was the first console strategy game from NCS Masaya, the studio which went on to greater fame with the Langrisser franchise. Langrisser is cool, so I've wanted to try this earlier effort.

PC Engine Hu-Card Set - Kato-chan & Ken-chan, Space Harrier, Fantasy Zone, Bomberman '93, Makai Prince Dorabocchan (three loose, a few with sleeves) - $22. I mostly got this for Makai Prince Dorabocchan, which is a somewhat pricey, yet average, side-scrolling platformer. This game is the predecessor to the decent SNES action-RPG Spike McFang. Yeah, the sequel there changed genres, and is probably the better game. Still, hopefully this one is decent enough to be worth getting. Also in the pack, Space Harrier I'm interested to try. I hope it's decent, most of NEC's ports of Sega scaler games turn out surprisingly decently on the TG16. Kato-chan & Ken-chan is the game released in the US as JJ & Jeff. It's a good platformer, and one of the first PC Engine games. I have that version, but it's censored, so it'll be interesting to compare it to the original version. As for the last two, I already have Fantasy Zone and Bomberman '93, so I'll sell those or something. - Makai Prince Dorabocchan is not listed on IGN.

PC Engine HuCard set - The Kung-Fu, Neutopia, Space Invaders: Fukatsu no Hi, Momotarou Dentetsu II (all loose or card in sleeve) - $11.00. I got this for Space Invaders and Neutopia, I don't care about the others. The Kung-Fu I have a complete US copy of -- this is the Japanese version of China Warrior. I'll try to sell this copy or something. Neutopia is a Zelda clone, much more expensive in its US release. There is a language barrier, but it's mostly playable and does have guides. Space Invaders: Fukatsu no Hi is a solid Space Invaders game. It's not one of the best Space Invaders games, but it's fun, and has some neat ideas such as the levels where the lights are mostly out and you can only see directly above you. The last game is a Japanese boardgame/RPG thing in a long-running series we never saw in the West, doubt I'll play it; I already have the one and only Momotarou game that isn't a boardgame thing, the platformer Momotarou Katsugeki (also for PC Engine). Space Invaders: Fukatsu no Hi is not listed on IGN.

Super Schwarzschild - $1.25, complete. This is a space strategy game. It got a sequel, but no US release. I'm interested in seeing how playable it is without knowing much of the language. - Game not listed on IGN.

Vanilla Syndrome - $4.06, complete. This is a mahjong game. - Game not listed on IGN.

Shubininman 3: Ikai no Princess - complete, $16.25 - The third Shubininman game is just as good as the other ones, just a bit easier. Still, it may be easy, but it's really fun, and nice-looking for the system too. I've really wanted to get this game.

Gulliver Boy - $2.25, complete. This traditional JRPG is interesting as much because it's the only appearance in an actual game of HuVideo, Hudson's technique to pull off fully-animated video on the PC Engine, as because of the gameplay. Nice technical accomplishment here! As a game it's apparently only average, though.

Subtotal $154.84
Shipping $78.00 (quite reasonable per game when you get this many at once)
Total $232.84
It's not games, but I got some Atari manuals today, six manuals for $6 (it would have been $1.50 for one, so it was a much better deal for more!). For the 2600, I got manuals for Adventure, Maze Craze, Riddle of the Sphinx, Video Olympics, and Amidar, and for the Atari 7800, Pole Position II. These are all games I own, but didn't have the manuals for. Many of these are manuals that are great to have because they explain what the variations are for the games, a key thing to know for Atari games. Riddle of the Sphinx's manual is also important because that game is fairly complex. Pole Position II... 7800 manuals are ridiculously thin -- think one piece of paper folded in half -- but I do like the table of target lap times on the back page, it's helpful info to have.
PC DD - Humble Origin Bundle 2. There's about a day and a half left for this bundle, and I picked it up a few days ago but forgot to mention it. The average is slightly under $5, so I paid $5 to get everything below:
--
for Origin: Dragon Age™: Origins, Peggle™, Dead Space™ 2, Command & Conquer™ Generals + Zero Hour, Medal of Honor Allied Assault™ War Chest, Plants vs. Zombies™ Garden Warfare, Dragon Age™ II, Bejeweled™ 3, and Mass Effect™ 2

for Origin, older games: Wing Commander 3™: Heart of the Tiger, SimCity 2000™ Special Edition, Wing Commander™ IV: The Price of Freedom, and Ultima VII The Complete Edition

for Steam:
Dragon Age™: Origins
Dead Space™ 2
Bejeweled™ 3
Mass Effect™ 2

I already have Dragon Age Origins, Peggle, C&C Generals, and Mass Effect 2, and other versions of all of those older games for Origin, but there was enough here to be worth $5. In particular, it gets me Dead Space 2 (I have the first and third ones, but didn't have the second) and Dragon Age 2 (I have the first, but not the others). DA2 of course is nothing compared to the first game, but I should at least have it. Bejeweled 3 also might be amusing, I don't have any Bejeweled games, though I know it's very generic in theme (it's match-3, same as any other one). I also didn't have the original MoHAA, that'll be interesting to try again. PvZ: Garden Warfare I might try sometime, though being a multiplayer-focused third-person shooter I doubt I'll play it much. So yeah, it's a mixed bag, but there's easily $5 worth here.
I seem to have forgotten to mention it, and it's the last day of the month, so...

Xbox 360 XBLA - 'Free' Games with Gold titles for the second half of the month
--
Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - I'm excited to have this one! This is the AC game I most want to play, thanks to its pirate theme. Pirate stuff is great. :)
This is from ebay. I got some new Odyssey 2 games, for the first time in a bit over a year I believe. Shipping was only about $3.15, so this package was only a bit under $12 total, quite reasonable! That's part of why I got all four games. (I didn't previously have any of these four titles.)

Armored Encounter! & Sub Chase! - complete, $1.25
Baseball! - complete, $1
Freedom Fighters! - complete, $5.50
Blackjack - complete, $1

The first two of these four games are two player only games, so I won't play them often, but I'm sure they'll come in handy sometime. Both have the expected great O2 covers, which is awesome of course; the O2 has some of the best boxart ever, on both its systems and games. Armered Encounter/Sub Chase is Magnavox's take on Atari's Combat. It's supposed to be okay, but not quite as good as Combat. Baseball is a basic baseball game. I like baseball, but these 2nd gen ones are really simple... still, it's definitely cool to have, to see what baseball games were like in the '70s; both of these games are from '78, so they're early releases for the system.

The latter two games are the main reasons I got these games, Freedom Fighters especially. Blackjack is a decent video blackjack game, though there are lots of other options for videogame blackjack of course. Still, it's a fine version of perhaps the only casino game I find tolerable (not that I've ever been to a real casino or ever gambled, I haven't).

But Freedom Fighters... Freedom Fighters is a 1982 release, and the O2 games from '81 to '83 are the system's best, and most complex, games. Freedom Fighters is a sort of Asteroids / Defender side-view shooter. You have a spaceship, and have to destroy enemy spaceships and missiles while picking up stranded spacemen. It's a pretty good game and plays great, as usual for the O2, with one issue" the controls are weird. One controller moves you around the screen, you see, while the other "scrolls" the screen to move you around in hyperspace. Now, this isn't Defender, there is no persistent level. Instead, you're just moving the enemies off screen and replacing them with a new random batch of enemies. It can be useful for if the screen is cluttered with bullets you want to get away from, though. Of course, switching between controllers is clumsy, I'm not used to it yet. (Oh, the button on either controller fires.) Otherwise though, this is a good game for sure. The game recommends two player co-op, but you'd really need to work together well to not get killed quickly... and as usual on the O2, you only get one life per game here, get hit once and your score resets. As with many of the games from '81 and later, you can enter your name, though it's pointless because that's lost when you turn the system off of course.

Anyway, Freedom Fighters was my most-wanted O2 game, so I'm quite happy to get it. The other stuff might be neat sometime, and it's always great to have more boxed O2 games because of how cool those boxes look, but Freedom Fighters is the main draw.
... Yeah, spent a bit much on this other ebay box. Shipping was $160, so the total was $460. Expensive... but still the per-game shipping average is about $3, not too bad. Still, because of how much this cost I probably won't be getting many games for a while. Plus this is a lot of new games to play...

Prices below don't include their share of the shipping.

I list where the games were released here to show why I get this stuff -- the vast majority of these games only released in Japan. In the '80s and '90s, a LOT of great console games only released in Japan. This is not as true anymore, thanks to more localization companies bringing games over and the movement of Japanese games over to cellphones, but it used to be very common.

NES (Famicom) - Apart from Rockman 4, Dragonball, and Donkey Kong 3, the other 10 of these FC games are Japan-exclusive titles we did not see on the NES.
--
Rockman 4 - $6.50 - Finally, I have a copy of Mega Man 4, probably my favorite Megaman game ever! :) I got the Japanese version because it costs a lot less than the US one. If I want to play it in English I could just play it again on the MMAC collection for Gamecube, anyway.
Lot Lot (cart & box, no manual) - $3 - average-looking puzzle game with dated graphics. It does have a cool box though.
Armadillo (Cart & manual) - $2.30 - Good-looking Mario 3-style platformer with a character who can roll up into a ball... hmm, I wonder where they got that idea? (this game released shortly after Sonic 1 for Genesis) :p Looks like a pretty good game anyway, though!
Twinbee 3 - $2 - The last of the three NES Twinbee games. I have the other two, so it's nice to complete the trilogy! I'm sure it's a good game too.
Wai Wai World - $7 - I've wanted one of Konami's two crossover Wai Wai World FC platformers for a while, so I'm pretty happy to finally get this copy of the first one. It's too bad these games didn't release in the US.

The below four games were a lot that cost $3.
Dragon Buster - Namco side-scrolling dungeon crawler action-RPG. Somewhat infamously difficult game. - not listed on IGN
Super Black Onyx - The NES version of this Japan-only RPG from Bulletproof Software; it's one of the first console RPGs made in Japan, though the creator is American. - not listed on IGN
Romancia - Side-scrolling action-RPG from Falcom. This is one of the Dragon Slayer games we never got in the US (we did get two other FC Dragon Slayer action-RPGs, Faxanadu and Legacy of the Wizard, but not this one.)
Sky Destroyer - rail shooter. It's not great, but it's interesting to see the NES try to do this kind of game.

The below four games were a lot I got for $2.32.
Bio Senshi DAN - Sidescrolling platform-action game from Jaleco, could be good. - not listed on IGN
Takahashi Meijin no Bug-tte Honey - Platformer/shooter from Hudson. This is a spinoff of the Adventure Island series, but plays a bit differently from the other games, and has some shmup segments. I'm interested to try it! - not listed on IGN
Dragonball - This topdown action-adveture game did get a US release as Dragon Power. I've never cared about the series, so I got this for the other games in the lot (the two above and one below).
Donkey Kong 3 - I don't know if I've ever actually played this game... I should, though, even if it's not as good as the others.

Super Famicom - 5 of these 6 games were Japan-only, the other is a double I'll sell.
--
Mahoujin GuruGuru 2 (cart & manual) - $1 - The sequel to the first one, which I got recently (above). Looks like more of the same; these are simple dungeon crawlers with easy gameplay and nice graphics. - not listed on IGN

The Great Battle IV - $4.75 - Unlike The Great Battle II, which I got in the other import box above, this one is a side-scrolling action-platformer (that one is a beat 'em up). It does still have two player co-op, though, which is cool. Looks solid. The characters are the same -- Ultraman, a Gundam, and two others. - not listed on IGN

The below four titles were a lot that cost $7.50.
Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse - I have a US copy of this game, so I'll sell this Japanese copy, probably. Got it as a part of a lot.
Soreyuke Ebisumaru Karakuri: Meiro Kieta Goemon no Nazo - This Goemon-spinoff isometric puzzle game starring Ebisumaru is the last of the five Goemon games for SNES. I've heard it's not great, but I love the series so I want it anyway! - not listed on IGN
Sailor Moon R - This is the second Sailor Moon beat 'em up. It's SNES-only, unlike its arcade/SNES/Genesis predecessor. Hopefully it's decent. After this game the series changed genres, to fighting games, RPGs, puzzle games and the like, I think this is the last beat 'em up...
Captain Tsubasa III - Soccer game from Tecmo. Got as a part of a lot I got for other stuff.

Nintendo 64 - both of these games are complete in box. Both are Japan-only releases. There are plenty more import-only N64 games, but I now have many of the more interesting ones; leaving out the sports games, the main ones I still want after this would be Bangaioh, Last Legion UX, and Getter Love, though I'm sure there are a few more beyond that (Robopon and Zool, maybe, for some Japanese RPGs?).
--
Ganbare Goemon: Mononoke Sugoroku - $13.50 - This is a boardgame with Goemon characters. The Japanese boardgame Sugoroku apparently is a bit like Monopoly. I mostly got this because it's a Goemon game, I admit, but it's got good graphics and great clay-characters cover art on the box. The game is decent if you learn the rules, apparently, and there are some online in English.

Custom Robo V2 - $6 - This is the last Custom Robo game that I didn't have, so it's great to have the whole series now... well, apart from that I wish it wasn't a dead series, because these games are really good! Custom Robo is a great fighting/RPG series, and it really should come back. The US-released Gamecube game is the best one, but the two N64 games are also quite good.

Gamecube - a Japan-only game I really wanted.
--
Kururin Squash - complete, $23.50. This game is the one I am the happiest to have of all the games in this lot; there are other great games here, but this one is one I've really wanted to play for years, so I'm pretty happy to finally be able to play it! It's incredibly stupid that Nintendo never released the three Kururin games in the US, but they're great games, and though I haven't played it yet this game looks fantastic. Now I'll finally have a reason to get a disc that'll let me play imports; that other Japanese GC game I have wasn't quite interesting enough to get me to get one, but this definitely is. You can get this game for a little less than this, but you can also pay a lot more, so I did alright.

Game Boy - these 5 GB and GB/C games were in a lot, all loose carts, $9 for all five. Bomberman GB 3 is the main draw for me. Four of the five games are Japan-only releases, the other is a double of a game I have the US version of.
--
Yu Yu Hakusho: Dai-San-Tama - This is an average anime-license sidescrolling beat 'em up.
Bomberman GB 3 - This game looks good, but is oddly single player only, for some stupid reason. Otherwise I'm hoping to like this game. Bomberman GB (US; aka Bomberman GB 2 in Japan)'s single player was fantastic, so I'm really hoping this one is as good!
The Legend of Zelda: Dreaming Island -yes, this is the Japaense version of Link to the Past. Obviously I got this lot for other games, though I'll keep this.
Nettou Samurai Spirits: Zankuro Musouken (Samurai Shodown III GB) - Takara's handheld take on the third Samsho game. I'm expecting it to be as okay-but-not-great as the rest of Takara's GB fighting games are. Hopefully it's fun though, I do really like Samurai Shodown 3 on Neo-Geo.

Game Boy / GB Color Dual Mode
--
Dragon Quest Monsters 1 - The Japanese version of the first DWM Pokemon-style game. This was in a lot with the four GB games above; I got it for some of those, not this.

Nintendo DS - Japan-only game.
--
Puyopuyo 15th Anniversary - complete, $5.50 - The second Puyo Puyo game from after Sega decided to never release the series in the West again. I've really been wanting some of the more modern Puyo games, and this DS version is perfect! There are several newer games, but they cost more, and this one's good too. The price was quite reasonable for this one.

Neo Geo Pocket - Japan/Europe-only game.
--
The King of Fighters R-1 - $13.50, cart in plastic case - This first NGP KoF game is in black & white, because it released before the NGPC. This is the first NGP game I have that doesn't have any color support, it's kind of cool to see. Of course it plays fantastically as well, SNK's NGP/C fighting engine was outstanding.

Playstation 1 - all 5 of these games are complete and only released in Japan.
hardware: 2 PS1 memory cards (this came in a lot with the PS2 memory card below) - both are first-party and translucent; one is blue and the other green. They were $9.50, but buying them locally I'd spend more than that for 3 cards, even including shipping.
--
Growlanser - $5 - The first game in this great strategic-RPG series! Its sequels have English-language releases, but not this first one sadly, either on PS1 or PSP.
Ganbare Goemon: Space Pirate Akoking - $3 - I tried to get a copy of this game before, but got the wrong disc, sadly. That copy has a broken case cover, too, and this isn't a normal jewelcase so it wouldn't be easy to replace. So yeah, now I have the actual disc, and a non-broken cover. This is a quite good 2d action-platformer; I've played it a bit. Other than the bizarre absence of Yae and Sasuke, this is a pretty good SNES-style Goemon game. It wasn't expensive either!
Tear Ring Saga - $5 - Tactical strategy game. Hopefully a good one.
Star Ixiom - $4.15 - Space sim with story, flight combat, etc. Could be good, I do like the genre.
Heaven's Gate - $5.50 - 3d fighting game, supposed to be a quality one.

Playstation 2 - all PS2 games are complete. These games all released only in Japan.
hardware: 1 memory card (along with the 2 PS1 cards above) - it's a clear Sony card.
--
Steamboy - $4.25 - This is an action-adventure game based on the (fairly good) anime movie. You play as the main character guy from the movie.
Yoshitsune-Ki - $3 - This is a tactical strategy ("SRPG") game. Hopefully it's good.
Otostaz - $5.50 - Weird puzzle game where you try to build a town with various colored blocks. Nice art style with an angular paper-cutout style.
Saisoku! Zokusha King Buchigiri Densetsu (Simple 2000 Ultimate Vol.3) - $4 - Budget tuner-style racing. Hopefully it's decent.
Flying Circus: RC Copter Adventure Championship - $1 - RC copter flight sim game. Who knows, I thought I'd give it a try.
The Nadesico (Simple 2000 vol. 87) - $9 - This is a beat 'em up where you play as some anime girls.

Playstation Portable
--
Fate/Tiger Colosseum - complete, $8. This is a 3d fighting game spinoff of the Fate/Stay Night visual novel/anime franchise. Hopefully it's decent.

TurboGrafx-16 (PC Engine) -- Games for this system are all HuCard only unless noted. No sleeve either unless noted. Only one is complete. Super Star Soldier, Wataru (Keith Courage), and Pac-Land have US releases; the rest are Japan-only. These games are a mix of shmups/shmuplikes and platformers, mostly. It's great to have more platformers for this system which has far too few of them (though the CD system is even worse in that respect).
--
Super Star Soldier (card & sleeve) - $10.50 The first of the three TG16 Soldier games. This game isn't cheap, but while there is a US version, it costs FAR more and is identical apart for the manual, which I didn't get here. It's a great shmup, of course. This is a good price for the game, I think, even for the import version.
Kiki Kaikai - $18.50 - This is the TG16 version of the arcade game that precedes Pocky & Rocky (SNES). It's a pretty good version of a good game. Tough but high-quality stuff here! This game isn't cheap either, but is definitely worth it, I like this kind of game. - not listed on IGN.
Obocchama-kun (complete) - $6 - This is a platformer from Namco. It looks like a very weird but fun game. This is the only complete TG16 game I got here. - not listed on IGN.

(The other 6 TG16 games were in a lot together for $16.86. Yeah, not cheap, but it is a bunch of interesting platformers and one Bomberman game.)
Youkai Douchuuki - Early platformer from Namco that has a reputation for being unfairly hard. - not listed on IGN.
Doraemon Nobita no Dorabian Nights - Average platformer from Hudson. Hudson's platformers are usually fun though, even when they're not the best. There's also a slightly improved CD version of this game, but the HuCard version is mostly identical. - not listed on IGN.
Pac-Land - The only one of these six with a US release, Pac-Land is the system's only Pac-Man game. It's a side-scrolling platformer; the original arcade version actually released before Super Mario Bros. for the NES. It's ... not that good, but it is interesting to see a pre-SMB scrolling platformer like this!
Bomberman '94 - The last of the three HuCard Bomberman games, this one hopefully is as good as its predecessor Bomberman '93. This game got ported to the Genesis and released in the US as Mega Bomberman, but I think this was actually cheaper than that somewhat uncommon game...
And this lot came with 2 games I have already: Momotarou Katsugeki (the platformer Momotarou game, it's pretty good) and Chou Majin Eiyuuden Wataru (the Japanese version of Keith Courage; I don't have this release, but do have the US version. I'm not sure if I'll keep this or not.)

Turbo CD (PC Engine CD)
--
Ai Cho Aniki (disc & case, no manual) - $15.50 - The second game in the Cho Aniki series is where it really started getting weird (and focused on muscelemen). This is a shmup, and a weird one. It's supposed to be good but easy, and really weird of course. This game would have cost a lot more with the manual, it's a later release and not cheap. This is actually a good deal for it.

Wizardry I & II (complete) - $6 - A Turbo CD collection of the first two classic Wizardry games. This is a Japanese port collection of Western computer games, but Wizardry's franchise in general lasted longer in Japan than the West so that's not too surprising. This game has a thick-jewel case, interestingly for a Turbo CD game; I've mostly seen those on Saturn and Dreamcast games (import only, no US games use them). The story and some text is in Japanese, but all menus are in English, making the game playable.

Ultra Box 2 and Ultra Box 4 - both complete. 4 was $3.56 and 2 $4.69. These are two more issues of this CD-magazine thing which I have two other issues of. There are only six issues, so only two more to get! The two I have, 3 and 6, are pretty interesting collections of stuff, so I'm sure these will be as well. Each disc has some random stuff on it and some games. They aren't demos, though, they're small games (the difference being that these are not short versions of retail titles, they're only available here). - not listed on IGN (either one)

PC Engine Hyper Catalog catalog & demo discs volumes 1, 2, 6-A, and 6-B ($3 each, discs in generic cases) - These are demo disc collections. Each one has quite a few games on it, covering a wide variety of popular games and genres. They should be interesting to go through. Each disc also has a catalog of PCE/PCE CD releases up to the point of publication. The Ultra Box volumes also have some of these on them. Of course the info is all in Japanese, and the web does this better now, so I didn't get these for that. That they did this at all is definitely interesting though. - not listed on IGN.

Sega Saturn - All three of these are Japanese exclusive releases. No action games for Saturn here, but I still have more import games for Saturn than any consoles other than the TG16 and Turbo CD. It's kind of weird how many import strategy games I have for the system, though... WAY more than I have for PS1, for example, by several times. And I made that worse here. Ah well. :)

Galaxy Fraulien Yuna 3: Lighting Angel - $4 - The third and last game in this visual novel/RPG series from Hudson. I have the first game but not the second, but this was cheap so I got it anyway. The first game seems good, from what of it I can make out. This is in a dual-jewel case, though the extras space is mostly wasted -- it's just got one disc, a manual, and a collector's card in protector, this could have fit into a thick-jewel case.
Soldnershild S - $4 - Saturn version of a PS1/Saturn strategy game. This could be good if there's help out there for how to play it. This has a thick-jewel case.
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu Plus (Legend of the Galactic Heroes Plus) - $3 - Another strategy game, this one a space strategy game based on the classic space-opera anime franchise of the same name. This also has a thick-jewel case. Hopefully I can figure out how to play it, it looks good. - not listed on IGN.

3DO - I don't have a 3DO yet, but I will, it's the next classic console to get on my list. I now have 3 games, 2 controllers, and a save backup unit for the system... I really need an actual console to use the stuff on. :p

Hardware: I got a 6-button 3DO controller for $15, a weird-shaped Capcom one, for SSFII.
--
Rush 'n' Fire 'Megadas' - $3 - This is a weird game by Warp, the studio that also made D. This game only released in Japan, unlike that one. - not listed on IGN.
Saturn
--
Space Jam - $3, disc in generic case - the NBA Jam engine does the Looney Tunes/Michael Jordan movie! The NBA Jam-style games are the only basketball games I like, so I expect I'll find this one fun too.

Playstation
--
Speed Punks - $3, complete - kart racing game. Hopefully it's good.

SNES
--
Super Off-Road: The Baja - $5, cart only. A behind-the-car racing game followup to the great classic topdown racer Super Off-Road. I don't like this nearly as much as that game, which is why I hadn't gotten it before, but it's decent enough at least, and I love the original (it's one of my favorite arcade racing games ever!), so I'm happy to have this.
PC
--
Force Commander - jewelcase, manual, quick-help card, and Prima strategy guide - $10. This is a not-great Star Wars RTS from 2000. The strategy guide increased the price, but I couldn't resist anyway. There are so few RTSes these days, I should give this one another chance. :)

Genesis
--
G-LOC: Air Battle - $7, complete. I remember really liking the arcade version of G-LOC back in the early '90s. I'm sure this version isn't nearly as good, but I couldn't resist getting it despite that. I played the game, and like it a lot more than I thought I would! Maybe the nostalgia helps, but G-LOC is pretty fun... :)

Rambo III - $8, cart only. Sega's second Rambo run & gun (the first is the pretty good first SMS Rambo game), hopefully this early Genesis game is decent. This game is alright, but kind of ugly and dated.

Dreamcast
--
Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein - disc in generic case, free as a B3G1, would have been $7. This is a 3d fighting game from Capcom, so I'm expecting it to be reasonably good.

Wii
--
Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars - complete, $1 (disc is scratched, but should work) - I actually have few of the Lego games, but I do at least want to complete the Lego Star Wars trilogy; I have a handheld version of this, but the console game is different. I've wanted this for Wii, nice to get it.

Wii Play - $1, complete. One dollar is probably the right price for this super-low-on-content minigame collection... :p (I've never played Wii Play, actually.)
Odyssey 2
--
Showdown in 2100 A.D. - complete, $7 - this is a pretty decent Gunfight clone for the O2. Yes, found it locally today, pretty cool. It even has a 1-player mode, unlike some Gunfight games, though the AI is worthlessly bad, unfortunately.

Alien Invaders -- Plus! - $3, cart & manual (no box) - I got this because it's supposed to be good, though it is too bad it has no box because O2 boxes are so amazing looking. At least it has the manual, though. This game is an interesting spin on Space Invaders; instead of just shooting the aliens, you have to time your shots to shoot through some shields, to hit the enemies above them. Nice idea. I like how the O2 versions of popular games aren't just clones, they change things. This is a very good game. Space Invaders for the 2600 might be better, but this is a good game too.

Sega CD
--
Wing Commander - $9, complete - The Sega CD port of the PC classic. This is a pretty good price for this decent port of a good game. The controls are complex, but the back page of the manual has a full control list, and the manual is thick for a console game too -- 65 pages.

PC - these four games were $1 for all of them (not $1 each, for all four)
--
Zoo Tycoon - jewelcase only
Grand Theft Auto III - jewelcase and poster/map only
Re/Mission - complete (DVD-style case)
Medal of Honor: Airborne - case (DVD-style, with slipcover) & disc, no manual
PC DD - BundleStars bundles
--
Killer Bundle 3 - $5

Planetary Annihilation - This RTS from last year is the main reason I got this bundle.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat
Of Orcs And Men

Super Motherload
Merchants of Kaidan - PC version not listed on IGN

Panzer Tactics HD
Battleplan: American Civil War - game not listed on IGN
American Conquest: Fight Back
Cossacks II: Battle for Europe
I spent a bit more than I was thinking to spend, but I was at one of my favorite gamestores today for a bit (hadn't been there since January), and they'd gotten in a whole bunch of Saturn games, some of them quite interesting! Of course the prices weren't cheap, but I got a few of the moderately-priced ones, and a few other games as well.

Sega Saturn
--
Fighters Megamix - complete, $15 - This 3d fighting game was Sega's first which lets you move into or out of the screen without a code (you can in Fighting Vipers, but only in one special mode and, I believe, with a code), which is awesome -- that adds a lot to a 3d fighting game. And it's got fun stuff like the car from Daytona in it as a playable fighter too, which sounds fun. I've wanted it, so it was awesome to see this reasonably-priced copy!

Dark Savior - $30, complete - This is the most expensive of the games I got today, but it's a game I've wanted a lot ever since I got a Saturn. Dark Savior is an isometric 3d action-RPG from the developers who made the great Genesis action-RPG Landstalker, so I've really wanted it. It's awesome to finally have it. The game looks interesting -- there is a branching plot, multiple routes through the game depending on what you do at key points, and more.

Steep Slope Sliders - $10, complete - This is a snowboarding game. Releasing in late '97 it's a later US release, but it looks interesting and has fans. I find it pretty disappointing that all races are only agaiinst the clock, never another racer, but otherwise it seems like a good package, with a bunch of tracks, multiple modes, and more. Oddly enough the game's by Cave. Yes, the Cave that mostly is known for shmups.

Genesis
--
Cyborg Justice - $5, cart only. I don't know, I finally decided to pick up this okay-looking Sega beat 'em up. This might be Sega's most obscure Genesis beat 'em up, but that doesn't mean it's not fun!

TurboGrafx-16
--
Legendary Axe - $15, cart only. Yeah, not cheap, but TG16 games never are. I don't love this game, but it is a classic (EGM Game of the Year 1989!) and it's definitely something I should have. Maybe playing it again I'll like it more than I did in emulation, too, though I've never loved charge-meters in action combat games, as this game, Astyanax (NES), or, say, Secret of Mana all have.

Game Gear
--
G-LOC: Air Battle - $5, cart in plastic case. I got the Genesis version of G-LOC recently and was pretty surprised to find it quite fun, so why not try out the GG version too? I'm sure it'll be far worse than the Genesis version, but it's worth trying; I have nostalgia for the arcade version, and it's actually pretty decent on Genesis too.

Game Boy
--
Kwirk - $3, cart only. This is a tough puzzle game.

Game Boy Advance
--
Teen Titans - $3, cart only. I liked the mid '00s cartoon and the Gamecube game, so why not finally also try the first of the two GBA sidescrollers? I'm sure it's quite average, but I'll probably find it entertaining. :)
These first ones I got a few days ago.
Xbox 360
--
Max Payne 3 - discs only, $1

Xbox 360 Digital Download - Games with Gold 'free' title
--
F1 2013 - this is the current game free with GwG.

For the rest, I went back for some more. Won't get much more for a while. I had a $10 discount on the final price for most of the games below (the 4 loose DS games and Sengoku Basara are from a different store), but I didn't include that here; I did also get two games resurfaced and sell some very low-value double games also. Still, I paid $7 less than the numbers below suggest.

Nintendo DS
--
Honeycomb Beat - $2, complete. Puzzle game from Hudson with some music component.
Giana Sisters - $4.50, card only. I'd forgotten about this, but I've wanted it for sure. Nice to find it.
Zendoku - $1, card only. Sudoku game.
A Witch's Tale - $6.20, card only. Flawed RPG that I've wanted to try.
Crosswords DS - $1, card only. I'm not big on crossword puzzles, but why not give it a try? Could be fun.

Game Boy Color
--
Woody Woodpecker - $3, cart only. Generic platformer.

PS2
--
Wrath Unleashed - complete, $4. Looks a bit like Archon, maybe? It's also on Xbox, but this was cheap and I want to try it, so that's okay.
Under the Skin - complete, $5. Weird Capcom game I haven't heard of.

Atari 2600
--
Tron: Deadly Discs - $4, cart only. Tron game from Mattel inspired by the disc game. There is a second Tron 2600 game, that one a sidescroller.

TurboGrafx-16
--
Drop-Off - $15, card only. This is a mediocre Arkanoid-style game. I like Arkanoid a lot, and this is actually what it's worth, so I got it.

Dreamcast
--
Wacky Races - $15, complete. Fun kart racer.

Saturn
--
Last Gladiators: Digital Pinball - $10, complete. Fairly good pinball game, going by reviews.
DecAthlete - $15, complete. Sega "mash the buttons" arcade-style track & field sports game. Might be fun stuff.
GunGriffon - $18, complete. First-person mech action game from Game Arts. I am very interested in playing this, looks good. This is a good price for it, too. The game has Mission Stick support, though of course there's no mention of that in the US case or manual.

Wii
--
Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes - $4.50, complete - Capcom's knockoff of Dynasty (well, Samurai) Warriors.
Jambo! Safari Animal Rescue - $5, complete - Sega game.
PC DD - BundleStars bundles. The third one is still available, but the other two just ended.
--
Mumbo Jumbo Bundle - $3

Luxor 5th Passage - New Luxor game? Yes, I want to play it.
Luxor 2 HD - I really like Luxor 2, I wonder if this "HD" version is any different...
Pickers - Game not listed on IGN
Midnight Mysteries
Midnight Mysteries: Devil on the Mississippi
7 Wonders: Ancient Alien Makeover - Simple match-3 game. (IGN wrongly only lists for iOS)
Discovery! A Seek and Find Adventure
Little Farm
Midnight Mysteries: Salem Witch Trials
Midnight Mysteries: Haunted Houdini

Deep Space Bundle - $3

Space Pirates and Zombies - This game's demo was on PC Gamer's CDs for months in the last year of the disc, so I've been interested in playing the full version since.
Universe Sandbox
Waves - I have this game already, so this is an extra key.
Dead Effect - Bad-looking indie FPS. (IGN wrongly only lists for iOS)
Enemy Mind - Looks interesting. - Game not listed on IGN
Syder Arcade - I have this game already as well. Another extra. - Game not listed on IGN
Boid - Maybe fun? It's a simple RTS. - Game not listed on IGN
Q.U.B.E. Director’s Cut - This also could be decent.
Dark Matter
Smugglers 5 - Game not listed on IGN

Platypus Bundle - $1.50

Platypus - I have this average shmup for PSP, but not PC, and I haven't played the other games here.
Platypus II
Nux - Game not listed on IGN
Psichodelya - Game not listed on IGN
The Culling of the Cows - Game not listed on IGN
CHIP - Game not listed on IGN
Glacier 3: The Meltdown - Even bad arcadey racing games can be fun!
PC DD - GOG Summer Sale - These deals are only available for the next few hours, but most stuff on GOG sales reappears later if you keep checking.
--
Escape Goat - $1.50 - Solid-looking puzzle-platformer.
Screamer 4x4 - $2 - The third game in the Screamer series (of '90s racing games), I've wanted to play this game! Screamer 2 particularly was great.
Revolver360 Re:Actor - $2 - Good-looking shmup.
PC DD - GOG sale (again these may or may not be available depending on when you check)
--
Stacking $1.49 - Double Fine 3d adventure/puzzle game. Looks interesting.
Blocks That Matter $1.29 - A 2d puzzle-platformer, but the concept looks good.
Tetrobot and Co. $ 2.49 - Sequel to the above game.
Magicmaker $ 1.99 - 2d indie platformer. Basic graphics, but the gameplay has some promise. - Game not listed on IGN
Unreal Gold - $2.50 - Classic FPS (no, I've never played the original Unreal before.)
Gateways - $1.30 - Yet another indie 2d puzzle-platformer with basic graphics, but this one has a good game concept -- basically 2d Portal. It's from the developer of The Adventures of Shuggy, a fun but tough platformer. - Game not listed on IGN

Game Boy Advance
--
Fortress - $3, cart only - Fun puzzle game
Disney Princess - $2, cart only - Platformer. Meh, why not? It's interesting that this one is actually a platformer, unlike most of its awful, uninteresting minigame-driven successors.
Sudoku Fever - $2, cart and manual - I don't have any GBA Sudoku games. Well, now I have one; Sudoku is tough, but it is kind of fun I admit. Sometimes.

Also, for $1 each, I got two Atari Force comics (these are comicbooks that were packed in with certain 2600 games) and the manual for Vanguard for the 2600. Cool stuff. :)
PC DD - GOG Sale - Today (yesterday now) all deals from up to this point were available. I got two more, and with this unlocked the second free game -- you get a free game at $1, $20, and $50. I doubt I'll reach $50, but I'll take this. The $1 game is Simcity 2000 which of course I have multiple versions of, but the $20 game is STALKER: Clear Sky, and the $50 one is Xenomorph.
--
Entomorph - $1.50 - This is an action-RPG from SSI from 1995. Looks decent to good.
Great Battles Collector's Edition - $1.50 - I'd forgotten this collection is on GOG, but it's awesome to have it! The Great Battles series was a three-game strategy wargame series from Interactive Magic from the mid '90s. They're unique games and are supposed to be pretty good, but I haven't played them. I definitely will now. The three games are for Caesar, Hannibal, and Alexander.
STALKER: Clear Sky - Free ($20-spent reward as described above) - I know this series is popular but it really doesn't seem like my thing. I won't refuse a free game, though. :)
PC DD - GOG sale (from yesterday)
--
Twinsen's Odyssey - $1.20. This game is the sequel to Relentless: Twinsen's Big Adventure, and it's a very highly regarded action-adventure game from the mid '90s. I've always wanted to try it, and for this low price I couldn't resist!
NES
--
Werewolf: The Last Warrior - $8, cart only - Good platform-action game

Game Gear
--
Streets of Rage - $7, cart only - Decent beat 'em up. It's no match for the Genesis games, but for the GG it's good.
PC DD - Steam summer sale. Not much in day one (thankfully, I've spent too much recently and these sales aren't over!) but there were a few things...
--
The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match - $3. I have this for PS2, and the Dreamcast version of regular KOF'98, but it's awesome and I'd love to have the PC remake too! This has online play for one thing, you won't find that in the old console releases. Game not listed on IGN for PC (only console/arcade).

The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match - $3. This one I didn't have, and really have wanted to play. KOF '02 is probably the overall best King of Fighters game, on my list. It's an incredible classic, and this version is supposed to be even better than the Neo-Geo original. Plus online play too, of course. Game not listed on IGN.
PC DD - Steam sale
--
Creeper World 3 - $1.25. Interesting-looking strategy game that's a unique take on the "tower defense" concept. - Game not listed on IGN (though it has the first two).

DeadCore - $2.50 - first-person platform/shooter. Sort of like a puzzle-platformer crossed with an FPS.
PC DD - Steam & GOG sales
--
Rock of Ages - $1, Steam
Bloodrayne - $1.50, GOG
Bloodrayne 2 - $2, GOG
PC DD - Steam sale
--
Transistor - $5
Gas Guzzlers Extreme Gold Pack - $7 (game + dlc) Game not listed on IGN.
PC DD - GOG sale - a few more classic PC games
--
Unreal Tournament 2004 - $2.50
Realms of the Haunting - $1.50
PC DD - Steam sale
--
Banished - $5 - Interesting-looking city-building sim (of the Settlers variety)
