Etrian Odyssey V - new, $36. Yes, I got this game right at launch because I like the series a lot. The launch edition comes with an outer cardboard box, with the game in case and also a little artbook with 6-track music CD inside, very similar to the previous 3DS Etrian games -- all of them come with little mini-artbooks and a soundtrack disc with only a handful of tracks. I have those for EOIV and Etrian Mystery Dungeon, the two I have (I don't have the two remakes). I wish the soundtrack CDs were more comprehensive, but what's here is great... though none of these six tracks match up to the awesomeness of EOIV's amazing battle theme, but oh well; that's one of the best battle themes ever, so that's a high bar to reach. This game does have another great soundtrack, though, as usual in the series.

Smart Bomb - $3, complete - decent sounding puzzle game.

Game Boy Color (Only)
--
Army Men 2 - cart only, $4. The GBC version of the first Army Men game is actually surprisingly good, so when I saw it I decided to pick up this sequel. Hopefully it's as good as the first.
So, I do still have Xbox 360 Gold, so I've been picking up those titles. I looked at the complete list of GwG games on Wikipedia, and comparing that to what's in my game-collection database, here are all of the ones that I have but hadn't previously listed there. I may have mentioned a few of these here before, but most I probably didn't. Some are recent and some are definitely not. They do count, though! (I have most of the GwG games since it started, but missed a few here and there, either because I just didn't get around to getting a few of them or because I wasn't subscribed for some months.)

3DS DD (on sale stuff)
--
Parascientific Escape: Crossing at the Furthest Horizon - $4 - This is the third game in this decent escape-adventure series. This is a fairly recent release that came out this year.
Mini Golf Resort - $2.50 - I don't know, minigolf is fun.
Gunman Clive - $1 - I have this for PC (and have finished it), but it's good and would be cool to play it in 3d as well, so it's probably worth getting again, particularly for this cheap!

I think this Sony sale ends soon.

PS3 DD - on sale
--
SIREN: Blood Curse (complete)- $7
Legasista - $4

PSP DD - on sale
--
Prinny 2 - $3 - This is the second of these two very difficult platformers set in the Disgaea world.
I got these three like a week ago.

Xbox 360
--
Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition - $3, complete. This is a great price for this game, and yes I don't have any version of this game (MK9).
The Gunstringer - $3, complete. This is a Kinect game that's supposed to be one of the better ones for that thing, I believe.

PS3
--
ModNation Racers - $3, complete. I was not too impressed by the PSP version of this, but eh, I guess I'll give this version a try too.

And then last Tuesday, I got this pretty great find!

DS
--
Professor Layton and the Last Specter - $16, cart only. The fourth and final original DS Layton title is not easy to find in person, so while I've wanted it for some time now I hadn't seen a copy. When I did I was sure to buy it, because this is supposed to be one of the better Layton games and I have the first three for the DS (though I still do not have any of the 3DS ones; I'll need to get them...). This game doesn't only have another good Layton title in it though, it also has the amusing life-sim game Layton's London Life. London Life is simple but I think I like it.

And finally, this arrived a few days ago, but I was only able to try it out today because, you know, no power.

PC - hardware and digital game bundle
--
Steam Link bundle
Steam Link - $1, plus $8 shipping
ICEY - $7.69 - a sidescrolling action-platformer. Looks okay.

I would say more about this device, but made a thread instead.
Xbox 360 DD - free from Games with Gold - There are a few more days to get this one 'free'...
--
NiGHTS into dreams...
Xbox 360 DD - Games with Gold

Deadfall Adventures - This is the current game free from GwG.

All of these 3DS games were on sale when I got them a few days ago, though the sales are over now.

3DS DD

Fun! Fun! Minigolf Touch - $2.24. Yes this is another minigolf game, but this one's from Shin'en so the quality is higher than that last one. This is a short and simple game but it's decent. That other one... yeah, not so much.

Ohno Odyssey - $2.50. This is a decent puzzle/platformer game. It's a sidescroller, and you set up the stage first with the parts available, then auto-run through it, hitting buttons at the right time to jump and such.

Super Destronaut 3D - $1.50. This is a simple and straightforward single-screen score-attack shmup, heavily influenced by Space Invaders. It's go ta nice visual style and good gameplay, though it's lacking in features; the game really should have had a high score table for instance, instead of just keeping track of your one best score. Ah well.

Thorium Wars: Attack of the Skyfighter - $3.25. This one's a 3d sci-fi flight combat game. It's on the arcadey side of flight games, which is fine, and seems to be alright. I do like this kind of game. (This is a sequel to a DSiWare game I haven't played.)

Castle Conqueror: Defender - $3. This one's a defense game, as the name suggests. You're defending castles, and build walls, set pit traps, get troops, and more in between waves, and then try to hold off Viking hordes once you're ready. It's good, though I've played better. (This is a loosely-connected series, including two 3DS eShop games I have, and a bunch of DSiWare game I haven't played.)

... You know, I've owned a 3DS for several years now after never owning a DSi before that, I have a bunch of 3DS eShop games, and... I believe that I still don't own any DSiWare games. Like WiiWare games they never go on sale, and none grabbed me enough to get me to buy them at full price...
My DSi is full of games I picked up just before that eShop died on me. It's too bad they never allowed me to port games back to the DSi, since the screen resolution is a better match on that one anyway and so the games look nicer.
Atari 2600
--
SpaceMaster X-7 - $3, cart only. This is an uncommon game worth $15-plus on ebay, which I randomly found today. It's apparently not that great, but still, neat find.

PS1
--
Tall: Infinity - $7, complete. Decently interesting looking puzzle game.
3Xtreme - $3, complete. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy this, the last game in this series I hate so much... because I can't not have the last one in a series when I have the rest, right?

Nintendo DS
--
Rubik's World - $3, complete. I got the Wii version of this game a while ago, but don't have this somewhat different DS version. It's a quality puzzle game.

Witch's Wish - $14, complete. This is a simple adventure game, apparently; I got it not really knowing what it is. Looking it up, it doesn't sound like anything too special, but it is uncommon and sells for more than this online, so that's good! And it could be fun, if simplistic.

Dark Jaguar Wrote:My DSi is full of games I picked up just before that eShop died on me. It's too bad they never allowed me to port games back to the DSi, since the screen resolution is a better match on that one anyway and so the games look nicer.
Yeah, that in a lot of Nintendo systems online game purchases are tied to your system and not to an account is pretty unfortunate. I can understand shutting down the DSiWare shop for DSi, Sony did something similar when they shut down the PSP's store on PSP, but at least there you can still play downloaded games on your PSP if you download them on PS3 and transfer them over to PSP from there. With Nintendo there is no such option, so you're just stuck... and that is too bad, as you reminded me, the DSiWare games would look better on DSi than on 3DS thanks to resolution issues, wouldn't they...

As for the actual games on DSiWare, though, I wanted the Shantae game but eventually got the PC port instead, for a lot less than the DSiWare version (on 3DS eShop) costs. Otherwise, I don't know what's worth looking at...
Mostly odds and ends. The sad truth is the vast majority of DSi games are shovelware garbage barely fit for an Action 52 cart.
I would have gotten that DSiWare version of Zelda Four Swords, but it was time-limited for some insane reason so I couldn't. Disappointing. Other than that though, did even Nintendo release anything good for DSiWare? Their WiiWare library is not amazing but has a few good games in it, but I don't know about the DSi...

Otherwise, two more games I got that I didn't mention above.

Xbox 360

Crackdown 2 - $1.50, complete. This game does not have a good reputation but hopefully it's worth this little, at least.

Xbox 360 - DD (currently on sale)
--
Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures (1) - $5. The first of these two 3d platformers; I got the second one on disc for 360 not too long ago, so now I have both. They're alright games.
Yes, Nintendo's offerings are pretty solid on the DSi, though they tend to be smaller affairs than their cartrigge based DS games. (In some cases literally, since they repackaged each individual mini-game in brain age as a separate download on the store.) I mainly got their unique puzzlers. Capcom also had a very nice retro styled game that was supposed to help promote its older sibling on the XBox 360, but it ended up getting much better reviews than the game it was supposed to promote. Funny how that works.
So it's Thanksgiving, which means sales. I'm thinking of getting some stuff, but for now how about this stuff I got today, some digital Nintendo sale software. The 3DS has some decent stuff on sale for Black Friday, including retail and physical releases and some first-party games, but the Wii U list is shorter and is exclusively third-party indie games. Some of them are good indie games, but it's weird that absolutely NO first-party Wii U games are on sale here. Oddly though, the Wii U eShop has a nice holiday background theme and music playing, while the 3DS eShop just looks like normal... huh. (The prices listed are the sale prices.)

Oh, there are also Switch sales (for people with a Switch), but they look underwhelming.

3DS DD
--
Blaster Master Zero - $7 - Probably better on Switch, but this version is good too.

Mutant Mudds - $4.50 - I have this for PC, but very much want to play it in 3d, as it was originally designed...

Dillon's Rolling Western - $5 - I've always thought that this first-party title looks fun, so it's nice to finally have it.

Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure - $4.50 - This is an okay but somewhat barebones Dr. Mario game. There's no traditional arcade or story modes really, but it has some challenges to beat and online play.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move - $5 - Unlike the other MvDK games, this one is a different kind of puzzle game, this time somewhat inspired by Pipe Dream I believe.

Wii U DD
--
Axiom Verge - $10 - The PC and Wii U versions of this are both on sale for the same amount now, but I went with this one because the Wii U version has a map on the Gamepad, which is a great feature in a Metroidvania. On other platforms you have to pause to go to a map screen, making this the best version of the game.

Bit.Trip Presents... Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien - $3.74 - I didn't love the Wii Bit.Trip games, but I guess I should try this one now that it's on sale.

Swords & Soldiers - $1 - This is a port of a WiiWare game of the same name. I've always thought it looked fun, so it's nice to have it.

RUSH - $0.67 - This Two Tribes game is one that I have for PC, but this version has full Gamepad controls so I decided to give it a try. So far I haven't bought the Wii U or 3DS versions of Toki Tori 1 (and 2 for Wii U) and EDGE, though, to mention the other cheap Two Tribes games, because I do have those on PC as well and those are pretty much the same on console as PC. Maybe I'll get the two 3DS ones, to have them portably (though I do have the original Toki Tori for GBC, so there's that), since they are also 67 cents each and Toki Tori is a very good game, but I'm not sure. (Oh, as for Rush, it's inspired by ChuChu Rocket, so it's a puzzle game; the other three here are platformers.)

Mutant Mudds Super Challenge - $4.50 - This purchase gives you a free copy of the 3DS version of this game, as well as the Wii U one. Oddly enough the 3DS version of Mutant Mudds Super Challenge is not on sale, only the original game for 3DS, so to get the 3DS version of this one for half off you need to own a Wii U and buy the game there. Weird decision there, but if you have both systems it works...

Also for $5 I got the DLC pack for FAST Racing Neo for Wii U. It's not on sale but the game is good and it's cheap so I got it.
Oh, and I didn't mention that I got a couple of things yesterday, delivered from ebay orders. I got a 2TB Western Digital external hard drive (on sale for $65 new), and a dual USB to micro-B USB Y-cable (for $5), so I can use it with the Wii U and its low-power USB ports. It seems to work, and this means I'll pretty much not have Wii U storage pace issues ever again.

Meanwhile, with the Switch, your only option are very expensive large micro SD cards; you'd pay at least double this amount of money for like a tenth the amount of storage space. On what is a now a popular system, with what will probably be a large game library, with some games that require large installs... this is not good! I understand that a docked-only hard drive support thing would be limiting on portability, and that's unfortunate, but that'd be far better than leaving things as they are and just expecting people to buy expensive large micro SD cards.

I mean, with the 3DS and PSP the 64GB cards I have in those systems are more space than I'll probably ever use, because of the smaller size of games for those platforms (and that I usually buy physical copies of games when I can; most digital games I have for both, and the 3DS especially, are digital-only games, which are usually smaller), but Switch games are much bigger. Just SD cards isn't enough.
And yet, there really isn't any other solution to the Switch issue. It's a problem that hits especially hard when flash storage is still in it's infancy compared to magnetic storage. The Switch just had to hit at this bitter spot between games bloating in size once again thanks to 2k and 4k textures everywhere, and SD cards just not quite catching up to magnetic storage in the bits-per-dollar payoff. I have a 4TB hard drive, and I really want to change it out for a 4TB (more like 6TB at this point since I'm close to filling my 4TB drive) M.2 flash drive.
They could allow hard drive use while docked only. It'd be far from ideal but better than not supporting it at all.

... So I ended up spending a lot, and getting a pricey thing that is a quite questionable choice in most ways... but I got it anyway despite knowing that. Heh.

First, some older games I got today.

N64
--
Spiderman - $11, cart only - not the best.
Deadly Arts - $6, cart only - A 3d fighter from Konami.

Playstation 1
--
Machine Head - $3, complete - A first-person tank action game. Could be fun. No analog support, though.
Jumping Flash 2 - $18, complete - The second game in this popular early PS1 series. This is actually a good price for this game.

SNES
--
Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge - $3, cart only. This is a first-party Super Scope game, and it's sort of a sequel to Nintendo's first mech shooter for Super Scope. I've wanted this one, so it's a nice find.

So for newer and more expensive stuff, I got an Xbox One S. Specifically, for $229 I got a 500GB one with the Forza Horizon 3 + Hot Wheels expansion bundle, plus, for free, a second controller (thanks to a Best Buy Black Friday deal). I got a black controller for the second one, to go with the white one that comes with the white X1S. Basically you get a system and two controllers, with Forza Horizon 3 with its $20 DLC pack for free; that's a good deal. This convinced me to get this one, over the $189 basic system with one controller. I need to buy an external hard drive for it, because that internal one is very small and is pretty much full already, but I missed out on a $79 4TB external drive deal from Best Buy on Black Friday as they sold out, so I guess I'll need to pay $100 for one of those... because 4TB is probably the right size, 2TB likely will fill up. It's either that or I repurpose the 2TB drive I got for the Wii U as a X1 drive, but I think I'll need more space than that so I might not do that.

Then for games, thanks to Gamestop's buy-2-get-1 used games sale, I got all this stuff, from three different stores:

Xbox One
--
Kronos Battle Worlds - free, would have been $8, complete
Mortal Kombat XL - $22.40, complete
Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition - free, would have been $28, complete
For Honor - free, would have been $15, complete (with working DLC code)
Dead or Alive 5 Last Round - $16, complete (with working DLC code) - Yes, I have this game for X360 and PC already. There are some actual reasons to get this version as well -- 360 doesn't have the last two DLC characters or a bunch of the later costume DLCs and no one is playing it online anymore, and the PC port is shoddy and is missing graphical features and options. Also you can transfer over your 360 save file to the X1, which is great; no need to get all the costumes again, that takes forever and I did not want to have to do that on the PC (since I did it once on 360 already). It transfers over scores and stuff as well. Nice.
ScreamRide - $16, complete - This fun-looking puzzle game is cheaper digitally, but I'd like to have the physical copy really.
Rare Replay / Gears of War Remaster Double Pack - $12, complete - I got this for Rare Replay, one of the few things I really want for this platform.

Wii U
--
Pikmin 3 - $16, complete - I'll give this series another chance...
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse - $24, complete - The sequel to the first DS Kirby game, Canvass Curse. That was good but not my favorite DS Kirby game, but I love the series so I very much want to play this one.
Lego City Undercover - free, would have been $15, complete. This game is now on lots of platforms, but the Wii U Gamepad integration makes this probably the best one.

Nintendo 3DS
--
Ever Oasis - complete, $30.50 - An action-RPG released earlier this year that is from the creator of the Mana series and I think looks pretty good. I've been wanting to get it.
Kid Icarus Uprising - $20, complete - The old Kid Icarus games are pretty good and I like the characters, but I haven't tried this one. I hope it's good. This copy actually came with not only the case but also the pack of 6 AR cards that the game originally came with, so I picked it up.
Mario Tennis Open - free, would have been $13, complete - The Mario Tennis games are usually good, so I decided to pick this one up. It's kind of weird, with the optional touch controls, but the 3d is nice and the controls work well so it seems good.
The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes - $12, complete. The most recent in the Four Swords-styled Zelda games, this game may not be a full-scale Zelda title but it looks fun and I have wanted to play it. I played a bit of it, it's fun.

Nintendo DS
--
999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors - free, would have been $16, card only. This popular escape horror adventure game that started the "Zero Escape" series isn't one I'm really interested in but it's got enough praise that I want to try it.
Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs - $16, card only - This is the third and so far final Pokemon Ranger game. These "draw circles around monsters to capture them" Pokemon spinoff games are surprisingly fun, so I've been wanting to get this one to have all three. It's kind of too bad that this series didn't continue on the 3DS, ah well.

Playstation 3
--
Atelier Rorona Plus - $12, complete - This is the enhanced remake of the first game of the first PS3 Atelier trilogy. I don't have the others.
Atelier Escha & Logy - $13.60, complete - This is the third of the Dusk trilogy of Atelier games. I have the other two.

So why in the world did I get an Xbox One? Well, of the four current platform options -- upgrading my PC hardware, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One -- in terms of game selection, it's fourth place. In terms of having the most games I want to play, it's probably also fourth, since I have a mostly-good PC. The obvious best chocie would be to upgrade my PC; I got it this year so it's mostly still quite good. I just need to get a new video card, since I didn't upgrade that so I still have a GeForce 560, and a large internal hard drive (since I could use more space) and power suppply as well (so I can put back together my previous computer). However, I think I want to wait a bit before upgrading my PC, so I'm going to hold off on that for a bit.

So, of the other options, the Switch would be the best choice, but since I only got a Wii U this year I definitely haven't gotten all I want out of that system. Plus, since it's popular it's not on sale at all right now, and with everything I'd need for it it'd cost quite a bit more than the X1 did. I will absolutely get a Switch, much earlier in its life than I did a Wii U, but I'm going to wait at least until next year. I like the Wii U and want to play more of it first... I'd been playing a lot of Wii U this year, but there's plenty more.

And between the PS4 and Xbox One, the PS4 has a lot more games I'd want to play and a lot more exclusives. Many Japanese third-party games now are releasing on PC as well as PS4, so I can play those on PC, but all of Sony's first-party output doesn't of course, and there are still a few Japanese third-party games that are PS4-only. In comparison the X1's exclusives list is very short and is pretty much only the system's few Kinect games and the handful of first-party releases from the first few years, before MS started adding PC ports of all their first-party games. The prices are also similar, at least if I'd manaaged to find one of those $199 1TB PS4s that sold out on Black Friday.

However, several things got me to get an Xbox One instead. First of course I dislike Sony. Also, I only got a PS3 a bit under a year ago, while I got a 360 back in summer 2013, so I've gotten a lot more out of the 360 and am more ready to move on from it than the PS3. But the core of it is because of both companies' subscription services. First, I've been subscribed to Xbox Live Gold for several years now. I'm still subscribed, and the subscription doesn't run out until next August. If I got a PS4 though, I'd need to subscribe to PS Plus, adding $40 to the cost (if I'd gotten Plus when it was on sale for Black Friday). And then on top of that, XBL comes with "free" Xbox One games, at a pace of two a month, generally, that you can add to your library. Even though I didn't have the system, I always did add the games to my library. Of course you can only play these games as long as you have an active subscription, so you don't own them, so I may get physical copies of some at some point, but I have a full 70 Xbox One games in my library thanks to XBL, compared to, I believe, zero PS4 games in my Playstation library, because I only subscirbed to Plus once for a month and I don't think I bothered to add the free games at the time because I knew I wouldn't be continuing the subscription. So, for the cost of the console I get 70 games for the console for free, a majority of which are games I don't own for any other platform. That's pretty nice. That's why the X1 games I did get physical copies of (listed above) are the few ones they are, because I didn't want to buy anything I had already from XBL and that ruled out a lot of the relatively few Xbox One physical releases that I'd consider for console over PC.

And of course, that's the big elephant in the room here -- that when you have a PC, even one with a good CPU but old GPU like I do, it's better than any of these consoles. And with the Steam Link I got last week, I can play hundreds of PC games on my TV. More console-styled games look pretty nice on my TV too, or they look as nice as games can on that thing. But it's hard to just say 'meh, I've got these 70 games but won't get the system that can play them, even though now it's cheap', so even if it might be a mistake I bought one.

Here's the complete list of the digital subscription Xbox One games I've gotten from my XBL Gold subscription over the years. I list the relative few titles I also have (digitally in all cases) for the PC or Xbox 360; all others are games I only have for Xbox One. Most do have PC versions, excepting a few -- Crimson Dragon, Sunset Overdrive, and that's about it -- but I don't have them, and getting all of the ones on this list that interest me at all would cost quite a bit...

(I'm not putting impressions here, but I would like to say that the controller is really comfortable. I'd heard that, but it's true.)

3DS DD - on sale
--
Mighty Switch Force - $3
Mighty Switch Force 2 - $3 - These two pretty nice-looking puzzle/platformers from WayForward are also on Wii U, but I chose 3D over HD. I might get the Wii U version of the first game as well before the sale ends Wednesday, though, because it has additional harder versions of the levels you can't play on 3DS and the graphics are redone in HD, but I want to play it in 3d, so I had to get this one first. (As an aside, the Wii U version of the second game doesn't have redone HD graphics, it's pretty much just a port. This is probably why it's cheaper than the Wii U version of the first game is.) I wish you got both versions of these games for one purchase, some Wii U/3DS games do do that, but no luck. Ah well.

Xbox One
--
Sunset Overdrive - I got the DLC for this game for about $13. It's on sale (ends soon),
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris - I got the DLC for this one as well, for $1.50.

So because of how much I spent on console games I got only a couple of digital PC games that are currently on sale; I'll mostly wait for the big winter sales. I got a few though:

PC DD
--
RedOut: V.E.R.T.E.X. Pack - $2.50, from Steam - This is the second of the currently-four track DLC addons for the good futuristic racing game Redout. I have the first one (Neptune), and will get the others another time.
Airscape: The Fall of Gravity - $0.50, from Steam - A cheap little platformer that's supposed to be hard.
We are the Dwarves - $2, from GOG (this game has mixed reviews but looks interesting)
Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack - $2, from GOG (I have the original game physical copy, but never did get the expansion, which is also included here...)
Archimedean Dynasty - $2, from GOG (an underwater combat action/sim)
Anno 1404: Gold Edition - $5.09, from GOG
Sid Meier's Railroads! - $2.50, from GOG
Rage of Mages II: Necromancer - $1.50 (I have the first in physical copy)

That adds up to just over $15, and GOG is giving away copies of the game StarCrawlers free if you spend $15, so I should get that too (once they send a key or such).
Before the sale ended this morning I got these.

Wii U DD - on sale
--
Midnight - $1.60 - a sort of platformer with golf-like controls. (Also on Steam.)
Midnight 2 - $1.60 (Wii U exclusive.)
Mighty Switch Force: Hyper Drive Edition - $5 - This is the aforementioned HD version of Mighty Switch Force. Same game, just with better graphics now instead of 3d. (also on Steam.)
3Souls - $1 - This is a simple indie platformer with voiced story dialog. It plays on the TV but displays stuff on the Gamepad and makes a lot of use of that, for touching things to activate things in the world, a camera mirror showing you as you play, blow-into-the-microphone stuff, and more. It was supposed to be part 1 of a 3-part game that the "3 souls" of the title refers to, but the other two never seem to have released. Too bad. (Wii U exclusive.)

There is also a third Midnight game, for PC, 3DS, and Vita. I might get it sometime, but not right now.
The current (first half of December) Games with Gold titles are:

X360 - Child of Eden - I have this on disc but why not take it digitally for free as well...
(XONE subscription: the new one is Warhammer End Times: Vermintide)

Also, I got another external 2TB hard drive, this one for the Xbox One. I paid $60 for this one, which is pretty reasonable. I was going to get a bigger one, and will definitely need more storage space than this for this system, but I missed out on Best Buy's $79 4TB drive offer around Black Friday, and don't want to pay like $100 for a 4TB, so I decided to just get a smaller one. After everything finally finishes downloading/installing, including all of the GwG titles, the disc games I got, and various demos and freemium games I downloaded for it as well, it'll have probably a bit over 1TB of space free, which for modern games is not a huge amount, but hopefully that'll be enough for a little while at least.
Next time you get a hard drive, I recommend HGST. Currently, they still have the most reliable drives in the industry. That said, I am still oh so patiently waiting for solid state to catch up at a reasonable price. I want to do a straight partition move over to a new drive (and then repair the boot record), and get that drastic increase in speed all at once.
The two external drives I got recently, for the Wii U and X1, are both WD. There are only really two major hard drive manufacturers left, WD or Samsung, and the one hard drive I've had fail on me was a Samsung (though I have some other drives of theirs that work) so I went with Western Digital for these...

I'm not sure if I've heard of HGST though.
There's also Seagate, though they have been doing fairly badly compared to others in reliability lately. HGST is rebranded Hitachi, and their hard drive do extremely well in tests done by various server farms.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...-_-Product
... Not sure why I said Samsung, I meant Seagate. They're the one that made that drive I have that died last year. The external drive I have connected to my X360 is a Seagate and it's fine, but yeah, that was not good.

As for my PC, I've got a 500GB M.2 SSD for the Windows drive. I need another large hard drive for it, but haven't gotten it yet; I should be upgrading my PC soon though, to get the things I didn't get when I built it earlier this year (ie a new video card, new power supply, and large hard drive). The other drives in it are the drives from my old computer -- two Hitachi 300GB drives that were the drives that came with my old computer when I got it in '07 (and, yes, still work just fine despite one being my boot drive for a decade!), a Seagate 2TB that is fine, and a 4TB external from WD. Oh, and the 500GB Seagate drive that doesn't work since it failed last year, I think it was. (It's a drive that Windows completely stopped recognizing and probably is bad, but I did manage to get data off some of its partitions in Linux, so that was weird...) Yes, I definitely need more hard drive space, it's getting closer to full...

But anyway, that link there points out that HGST is owned by WD now. Are they still making different hard drives from Western Digital, though? Because yeah, those two Hitachi drives I have have been very reliable despite being used a lot for a long time now, so that does make me interested in more drives from them.
HGST was bought by Western Digital primarily for their manufacturing process, which WD has left intact. At the moment, a HGST branded drive is still being made by that same manufacturing process in the same factories, and they are showing the same reliability.

Since SSDs are based on a totally different tech, the best company for those is probably not going to be the same. Maybe Samsung or Intel?
I'm definitely thinking of getting an HGST hard drive for my PC next, then. Sounds good.

X360 DD - on sale
--
Contrast - $2

X360 DD
--
Electric Car Racing - $1. Oddly, even though the X360 XBL Indie Games store has been shut down, for some reason three XBLIG games (of the 3300+ that were released for it) can still be purchased, including this one. I never did go into that store before its shutdown a few months ago and get any of them, unfortunately. The other two games still available cost more and have PC versions, but this doesn't and I like racing games and it's one dollar so I got it.

So here's a thing that says a lot about how much game sizes continue to increase. I'veh ad that 2TB drive for the 360 for about a year now. When I got it, the system's 4GB internal flash was of course about full, and the 500GB internal hard drive also was mostly full. Now, that 2TB external has about 105-110GBs of stuff on it, plus some stuff I moved over from the internal drive to free up some space there. 360 games just aren't that large, so even with getting a bunch of digital games for the system this year, thanks to Games with Gold and also other purchases, 'only' a bit over a hundred gigs is filled up. I own about 150 digital X360 games, and they're all installed, plus a few dozen demos and a few freemium games on top of that.

Meanwhile, on the Xbox One, I started with a fairly large library thanks to Games with Gold, so I've got like 78+ games, not counting the various things Rare Replay installs, and then added to that a bunch of freemium games and some demos. I've got like 118 things installed on my Xbox One right now. And... the internal 500GB drive is full, and I've got 1TB of free space left on the external drive. Because hard drives are not the actual size they say that means that there is actually some 800-900GBs of stuff on that drive, but still, I think that really shows how much game sizes have increased -- fewer games are taking up a lot more space. But when game sizes have gone up from 6 to 8 GBs on the high end last gen to 50+ GBs this gen, that's going to happen.
Playstation 2
--
Onimusha 2 - $5, disc in case (no manual)
Onimusha 3 - $5, complete - I've never played or cared much about this series, but this series was pretty popular on the PS2 (and I do have the Xbox version of the first one), so I should give it more of a chance, and I don't often see these games for cheap, so I picked these two up.

Xbox
--
Top Gear RPM Tuning - $2, complete. This game is a tuner game from the '00s, the era of the tuner racing game, which was originally completely unrelated to Top Gear, but had that label added for its US release by US publisher Kemco. I mostly got it because of the Top Gear connection; I have most of the Top Gear games except for this one, so I'm closer to having them all... I think all I'm missing now is the first GBA game?
First two new things I got.

Xbox One
--
Overwatch: Game of the Year Edition - $30, new - I'm sure it's better on PC, but I'd like to play this really good game on TV as well as PC, and you need to get a console version for that. (Also this does get me a few bonus things I didn't have since I got the base version of Overwatch for PC, but I didn't get this for that.)

Also for $15 I got the PDP Xbox One Talon Media Remote, because I use the X360 remote all the time (and the PS3 one regularly as well), so I wanted the X1 remote as well. It's a pretty handy thing to have.

The remaining four games were in a deal Gamestop currently has running, to get 4 games priced at $9.99 or less for $20. That total was then reduced by 20% thanks to my Gamestop card, so I paid $4 each for these games.

Xbox One
--
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions - complete. Yes, I own this game for the Xbox 360 (and finished it, beating every mission with at least two stars) and also the PC (though I played that version less). So I have no need for this... but I just couldn't resist, in part because it's an actual physical-disc Geometry Wars game, something I did not previously have but I definitely wanted (the 360 version was download only...), and partially because it's a really amazing game and I'm interested to see if it looks much different from the 360 one. I'm not expecting too much, considering how great that one looks, but hopefully it's at least a little better looking.

Xbox 360
--
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - complete

PS3
--
Time and Eternity - complete. I've heard this game is not that good but wanted to have it anyway.

3DS
--
Mahjong Cub3d - cart in generic case. This is an interesting take on Mahjong, or rather actually Shanghai of course, as usual for so-called "Mahjong" games that aren't Japanese, which puts the tiles on the sides of a cube, as the name suggests.
These I got Thursday. (I thought I posted this, but I guess not...)

Atari 5200
--
The Dreadnaught Factor - cartridge and manual, $24. I got this from ebay, because I wanted another 5200 game, I remember this game being good in emulation and it isn't another 2600 conversion, and this buy it now auction was reasonably priced. I don't regret it, the manual's cover art is amazing and the game is pretty good. And then on the same day...

Mario Bros. - $11, cart only. And then I found a couple of 5200 games locally! They had a few more too, but these are the ones I don't have. It's interesting that Mario Bros, a Nintendo game, is on Atari's consoles but it was, and it's a pretty decent version. This is the second Nintendo-port 5200 game I have, after Popeye, and it's great to have. It was a reasonable price, too. It looks and plays quite nicely as well, which is great.

River Raid - $7, cart only. This one is kind of neat to have because River Raid is a classic, but the 5200 version is, from what I'v read, only a small visual upgrade over the 2600 original, so it's far from getting the most out of the hardware. It's still nice to have though. I'd been wanting some Activision 5200 games, since I have Atari and Parker Bros. games but not Activision, and now I have two! And yeah, playing it it's a fine version of River Raid, but while I like the 5200 controller its analog stick is not as accurate for a game like this than a digital one would be.

Atari 2600
--
No Escape - cart only, $7. This one's one of Imagic's more obscure releases. It has a weird cover with a guy on a flying horse, and I knew nothing else about it when I got it but hopefully it was worth it. Probably will be. Looking it up, it's apparently sort of a shmup/Breakout thing where you shoot at a wall of bricks, which makes them fall. You need to drop bricks onto enemies to defeat them. That's kind of unique.

And these are more recent.

Xbox One / "PC" (Windows Store) DD
--
Cuphead - $16. It's not a large discount, but I definitely want to play this game, it looks great (visually) and I like the genre.

Goat Simulator Complete - $9. Yes, I have the base Goat Simulator game on X1 from Games with Gold, but not the DLC. Between getting just the DLC packs for $6, or the DLC plus base game for $9, I chose this because this way I'll still be able to play the game if my XBL subscription lapsed, which would not otherwise be the case.

PC DD
--
Sword Coast Legends - $5. This PC RPG is going to be removed from sale at the end of the year because the developer lost the rights. It looks decently good, the developer promises servers for online play will stay up after that, and is 75% off on Steam until then, so I got it. Anyone else interested should get it now while they can!
Isn't goat simulator how they planned 9/11? Watch out for those simulators ABF they're evil.
Yeah, it's a pretty silly game. I also have the 360 version (also from Games with Gold), but not most of the DLC addon levels, and while not a long game it's amusingly entertaining enough to be worth paying for.

Also, I forgot these two that I also got a few days ago. They were both free.

PC
--
Ultimate Domain - disc in generic jewelcase. This is an early '90s strategy game I don't remember, but you never know...

Command & Conquer: Renegade - discs in jewelcase (with no case paper cover or manual, just the discs and plastic). This is the FPS set in the C&C universe. I think it got okay-ish reviews?

And these games I just got.

PC DD - GOG sale - The GOG sale ends during the day on the 26th so I'm getting the stuff I'll get from it now.
--
Epic Pinball: The Complete Collection - $5.39. This is only 10% off, but it's a must have because Epic Pinball is fantastic! I really loved the shareware version of this back in the '90s, and I'm sure the other tables are also really good. It's awesome that the game is finally available for digital purchase, it wasn't until quite recently. (The two Jazz Jackrabbit games are on GOG now too, finally, bundled with most of their addons and such. I'll get those eventually but not right now.)
Unreal 2: The Awakening Special Edition - $1
AquaNox - $1.19 - The sequel to Archimedean Dynasty, simplified this time apparently.
AquaNox 2 - $1.19
Total Annihilation: Kingdoms + Iron Plague expansion - $1.50. I have a jewelcase copy of the base TA:K game, but not the expansion. This is a lot cheaper way of getting it than buying a disc copy online.
Deadlock: Planetary Conquest - $1.50. A somewhat complex 4X-ish game.
Deadlock 2: Shrine Wars - $1.50
An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire - $1.50
Armed and Dangerous - $2. This is one I've been meaning to get ever since its release, since it was made by the people behind Giants: Citizen Kabuto, but for various reasons I never did. I finally got it.

And since I spent over $15, I got the game Hard West as a bonus. The second bonus game you can get is the new Master of Orion game, for a total of $40 spent, which is quite a bit more so unless I get some pricier stuff from the GOG sale before it ends I won't be getting that one.
So you can say that game really gets your ... attention. I think there was a joke there but it slips my mind.
... So I ended up getting a few more games on the GOG sale just before it ended, not because I really want the 2016 MoO game, but because there were several more games there I definitely want to play.

PC DD - GOG sale
--
Xanadu Next - $10. This is a Falcom game, so it's a fairly good action-RPG and I definitely want to play it.

Divinity: Original Sin - $13.60. This game is highly regarded, and its sequel came out recently, so the first one is a bit cheaper now and I got it. I hope it lives up to what people say about it.

And yeah because of this I got Master of Orion 2016 as a bonus.
SNES
--
Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye - $6, cart only. This is one of the more prominent US-released Shanghai (solitaire Mahjong) games released on classic consoles.

Playstation
--
RC Revenge - $5, complete. I have the PS2 version of this game already, but I've always heard that somehow the PS1 version is better, so I finally got it.

Xbox 360
--
Halo Reach - $2, disc only. Now the only X360 Halo game I don't have is ODST.

Xbox One
--
Tom Clancy's The Division - $2, disc only. I don't think this will be my thing but you never know, and this is a very good price to try that out for...

Game Boy Color
--
Dexter's Laboratory: Robot Rampage - $4, cart only. This game is actually the Game Boy Color remake/sequel to Elevator Action, called Elevator Action EX in Japan... which for some random reason was graphically overhauled for the US and released as this licensed game. I got this thinking 'is this that GBC Dexter's Laboratory game which was a redo of some classic game?' ... And it is. So yeah, good purchase.
So there's a B2G1 deal at Gamestop again... and I got stuff.

DS
--
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 - $16, card only

Wii
--
Donkey Kong Barrel Blast - free (would be $16), complete
Arc Rise Fantasia - $20, complete - This JRPG is apparently decent but not amazing, but it is somewhat uncommon and I've sort of wanted it ever since its release, so it was very cool to find it.
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon - free (would be $12), complete

Wii U
--
Yoshi's Wooly World - $22.40, complete - I like but don't really love the Yoshi games, but this one looks pretty fun...

Xbox 360
--
Kinect Star Wars - free (would be $4), complete - Sadly this is the last game published by Lucasarts. :bummed:

Playstation 3
--
Sports Champions 2 - $4, complete

Xbox One
--
Titanfall - $4, complete
Assassin's Creed Syndicate - $16, complete - I was thinking of getting the new AC game, Origins, since it looks pretty good, but I went with this one because I am also interested in it and it cost quite a bit less.
So, on the last day of the now-finished Steam Holiday Sale I got a lot of stuff. There are so MANY PC games, though! I mean, I spent a lot here and got almost 30 things, including a few cheap DLCs, but I still have 282 things in my Steam wishlist, and I'm sure there are more that should be there...

PC DD - Steam sale
--
Planets Under Attack $1.00 - Looks like a fun simple strategy game. I've played some other strategy games like this one and like them.
Hyper Light Drifter $10.00 - Acclaimed action-adventure game from last year.
RIVE $5.09 - I think this is the last game from the team that made Toki Tori? This time it's different, it's a platform/shooter.
Trine 3 $5.50 - The third Trine game goes 3d, instead of 2.5d. Looks nice.
Quest for Infamy $2.00 - A Quest for Glory-inspired title I'm sure I'll enjoy to some extent.
KAMUI $4.00 - This is a Japanese PC shmup from the early '00s that released on Steam a few years ago. It's a classic, 90's-style spite-art shmup and I remember liking the demo when I played it back in the early '00s.
Mighty Switch Force! Hose it Down! $1.20 - One of the two PC Switch Force games. I think this is a mobile port or something?
Neptunia U $3.00 - This Neptunia game is an action-RPG, beat'em up-ish thing.
Neptunia U (DLC) $1.00
Mighty Switch Force! Academy! $5.00 - And this is the other one, with more classic Switch Force puzzle/platformer gameplay I believe.
Induction $5.00 - Good-looking puzzle game with a nice visual style.
Epistory - Typing Chronicles $6.44 - It's an action-adventure game... with typing for 'combat'! I've very much been wanting to get this one.
Nex Machina $8.00 - I don't love Housemarque, but Eugene Jarvis did consult on this twinstick shooter so I hope it's pretty good.
Stratus: Battle for the Sky $14.40 - This is a fanmade homage to Netstorm, in 3d. It's still in Early Access, as it has been for quite some time, but it's insane that I didn't buy it right when it released given how much I loved Netstorm. Well, I finally got around to getting it.
Bot Vice $0.50 - A simple pixel-art shooter thing.
Strikey Sisters $0.50 - Pixel-art game with blockbreaker gameplay.
SPINGUN $0.65 - Simple arena shmup.
NO THING $2.00 - This is a pretty interesting runner, look it up.
Raining Blobs $2.00 - A Puyo Puyo knockoff, pretty much.
Alwa's Awakening $5.00 - 2d sprite-art platformer that looks nice.
Age of Empires II HD - The African Kingdoms + The Rise of the Rajas $6.62 - AoE II is an older game, but after getting this HD update they made two new addons, which is pretty awesome. I have the base AoE II HD, and now got the two new addons.
Steep $15.00 - Ubisoft's extreme winter sports game from last year interests me, and I've been wanting it. I didn't get the new Olympics addon yet, just the base game and Season Pass DLC, but I'll get it eventually (the bundle actually cost more than buying things separately...)
Steep (DLC - Season Pass) $10.00
Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus $17.99 - I don't know if this more Warriors-styled Senran Kagura game is any good, but I'll try it. It's probably okay. This was originally a Vita game.
THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV STEAM EDITION DELUXE PACK $37.50 - This one is the most expensive of the games I got here, but I've really been wanting to play SNK's latest fighting game, so I had to get it! It's also on PS4, but not Xbox because the X1 is very dead in Japan.
Redout DLC - Mars Pack - $2.30 - Now I have three of the addon tracks for this pretty good (though somewhat flawed, the handling could be better) racing game. There are now six addon track DLCs, and so far there are no bundles to get them together. Huh.
Wii U DD
--
Nova-111 - $2.50. Puzzle/action game that looks interesting.
Stealth Inc. 2 - $2.50 - Stealth puzzle/platformer with some nice style to it.
Nano Assault Neo - $7.50 - This is the sequel to the 3DS Nano Assault game. It's supposed to be similar, which would be cool because that game is pretty good.
I've gotten a few things in the past week.

First, I got a PS1/2 controller extender cable for $4, and a N64 (Performance brand, the ones with the battery clip inside) N64 controller pak for $5. It's always nice to find those!

Atari 2600
--
The Activision Decathlon - $1, cart only - A quality olympic sports game for the 2600.

3DS DD - on sale
--
Mighty Gunvolt Burst - $7 - Classic-styled Mega Man-ish action. This got good reviews. It's also got six DLC characters, all $2 each, though... I'll probably get a few.
Azure Striker: Gunvolt 2 - $6 - Gunvolt 1 was decent enough, so I should get the sequel...
SubaraCity - $2 - fun puzzle game. It's kind of a spin on Samegame, with some interesting unique mechanics added.
Picross e7 - $4.20 - I actually don't have any of the now seven Picross e games for 3DS, so since this one is on sale I finally fixed that problem. It's great, but I do like 3d Picross a bit more than the traditional 2d ones like this. Still, I like this a lot.
Dillon's Rolling Western: The Last Ranger - $7.70 - The second game in this series.
Pocket Card Jockey - $4.90 - This unique horse racing solitaire game is pretty good! I really liked the demo, so I'm glad to get the full game.

Xbox One DD
--
Forza Horizon DLC - Blizzard Mountain - $8 (on sale) - This is the other content addon for this game, in addition to the Hot Wheels one that I got with the game.
Diablo III DLC - Rise of the Necromancer - $9.74 (on sale) - This is the only DLC addon for the game, Diablo III is good, and it was on sale so I got this.

Xbox 360 DD
--
Alien Hominid HD - $5 (on sale) - I got this for the Wii back when it released and thought it was alright but not as great as I was hoping, but for $5 I guess it's worth trying this HD redo. This graphically enhanced version of Alien Hominid only released on the X360, so it's worth picking up.
Tomb Raider Underworld - This is the current Games with Gold title.

Also the Xbox One GwG subscription titles I added are Back to the Future: The Game - 30th Anniversary Edition and The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III. For the second game, it's weird that the first and third games in that series have been in GwG but not the second one, but that's how it is.

And last and almost certainly least, I got something ... interesting.

For $20, I got none other than a Tiger R-Zone X.P.G. console, fully working, with one game: Batman & Robin. Yes, I'm now living in the R-Zone! And it feels... well, not good, but nor is it the worst thing ever. This game is one part beat 'em up, and one part driving game. Neither is good and the controls are a problem, but with how much negative hype the R-Zone gets, I was wondering if it'd be even worse... but no, it's just a Tiger LCD handheld game, more ambitious than many considering the two play styles, in this consolized handheld LCD system. The controls really are not good but you can play it, once you get used to the controls. I'd kind of like some more games for this thing...
Yes, with reposting that list and such I was inspired to finally buy some more WiiWare stuff.

Wii DD - WiiWare
--
Art Style: Orbient - $6
Excitebike World Rally - $10
LostWinds - $10
Space Invaders Get Even - $5
Robocalypse: Beaver Defense - $6

Wii DD - VC
--
Space Harrier - $8
Ufouria - $6
Yes, more Wii DD stuff. The problem is there are too many that are interesting, how do I choose...

WiiWare
--
A Monsteca Corral: Monsters vs. Robots - $5
MotoHeroz - $15
High Voltage Hot Rod Show - $10
Arkanoid Plus! - $6

Wii VC
--
Gley Lancer - $9
There is also a massive pile of garbage on the Wii shop. It is very hard to sift through it all to find the actual games.
Sure, but isn't that true on almost every successful platform? I mean, I could see an argument for WiiWare being a bit disappointing because it doesn't have many really amazing games, like the Wii does, but it has more than enough pretty good ones that many are well worth getting.

Also, pretty much everything on WiiWare has reviews online since NintendoLife reviewed, like, all of it, so you're not flying as blind with WiiWare as you would with newer games... since reviews have become less common over the years, after all.
I'm not talking about run of the mill garbage like Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde. I'm talking about a constant stream of Action 52 quality games ever since Nintendo "moved on" to the Wii U. Trash companies showed up and set up shop just shoveling it all out there as fast as they could.
I really don't know what you mean if you're referring to only the original Wii's online store. WiiWare mostly dried up in ~2011, releases-wise, and while there were a few releases in 2012 (including good ones like Vampire Crystals), after the Wii U released it pretty much totally died and there are only like two WiiWare games released after that, both from 2013 (a hunting game and Retro City Rampage). There are plenty of bad WiiWare games, partially because of the ~40MB file size limit, but the WiiWare library isn't that huge because of rules Nintendo had for developers and such so there are only so many.

You must be thinking of the 3DS and Wii U eShops, both of which are, indeed, loaded with terrible games from no-name indie developers. These games are also constantly on sale too, just to try to get people to waste money on them I imagine... but that's just following the way games have gone, with how on the PC Steam in recent years has similarly been inundated with thousands of terrible games.

But yeah, a few new things...

SNES
--
Brain Lord - $30, cart only. I remember seeing a cheap copy of this game ~8-9 years ago and not getting it, but then the price went way up. Now this is a quite fair price for this game, and the game's a quality Zelda-ish action-RPG so I had to get it sometime.

Xbox 360 DD - free from GwG
--
Army of Two

Also the new X1 GwG title is Zombi, the port of Zombi U on Wii U. I imagine it's worse without the Gamepad screen.
I really am talking about the Wii, and to an even greater extent, the DSi shop (when it was still up). It had lots of weird stuff that barely qualifies as a flash game in there.
Oh, you're talking about DSiWare. That's a completely different thing from WiiWare, indeed far more loaded with terrible games. But WiiWare was mostly dead by 2012 and saw only a couple of releases after the Wii U's release, so what you describe didn't happen there.

(On the other hand though, most of those DSiWare games can still be played on the 3DS eShop, while WiiWare is going away forever as a legal thing soon... though of course Wiis are very easy to hack and it's easy to play anything on a hacked Wii, so it's not as bad as this would be on a not-cracked-open platform.)
Game Boy
--
Race Days - $3, cart in plastic case - I don't know what this is but somehow it interested me. It claims to be two racing games in one and is by Gametek, so I'm not expecting much, but still, interesting...

GBA
--
Demon Driver - $1.50, cart only - an obscure but okay-looking topdown racer

N64
--
Toy Story 2 - $6, cart only - One of the few N64 platformers I didn't have... I just hope this is better than A Bug's Life, which was terrible. This does look better going by video online.

Wii
--
City Builder - $8, complete - a puzzle/city building game which looks fun. You can get this game cheaper than this, but not locally right now.
Genesis
--
Clayfighter - $4, cart only. While I have both N64 Clayfighter games, I've never owned any of the 16-bit versions. I saw this and decided to pick it up.

Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? - $2, cart in case with manual (but no atlas). As much as I have always loved history and geography, I never spent much time with this series; we didn't have the older ones when I was little, and when we finally did get one in the later '90s it was way too easy for me by that point. That said though the series is interesting and I'm happy to have this. It would be nice to have the atlas too, given how dated so many of the questions surely are, but ah well... for this price I can't complain much.

Game Gear
--
Garfield: Caught in the Act - $6, cart only. The Genesis version of this game is good and this one looks nice too, and this game actually sells for this much or more online, so I picked it up.

PS3
--
Heavy Rain - complete, $1. David Cage has not been making good press recently to say the least, and I'm not a fan of the genre, but for a dollar I guess this might be worth a try...

InFamous 2 - $3. I'm not expecting too much but do kind of want to try this series.

PS1
--
Hugo: The Evil Mirror - $7, complete. This is, on the one hand, a almost-certainly-bad licensed game based on a kids' movie/tv series about a troll named Hugo. However, it is also interesting because this series was mostly only available in Europe, and this is the only game in this franchise with a US release. Also the US version of the game usually sells for more than this on ebay, because it's somewhat uncommon.

Wii
--
Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes - $3, complete. The Lego games are all similar, and aren't amazing, but are simple fun stuff. I don't have that many of them, but for this price this is probably worth it.

Xbox 360
--
Injustice: Gods Among Us - $1, disc in case (no manual, if there was one). On the one hand, I have wanted to play this game and this is a very nice price for it. However, this original release of the game doesn't come with the DLC, and that probably costs more to buy than the difference between this and the disc release which has all the DLC included, so maybe I'll get that sometime if I like the game... but for now this is fine.
Wii DD (WiiWare)
--
MadStone - $8
Blaster Master Overdrive - $10
Bomberman Blast - $10
Stunt Cars - $8

Also I got the $2 DLC addon for Arkanoid Plus, and $9 in DLC for My Life as a Darklord, which I finally have most of the DLC for, except for $14 in items you can buy.

X360 DD - Games with Gold
--
Split/Second - This is a game I got on PC years ago (and liked, mostly), but it'd be nice to play it on console too.

Also the current new X1 GwG subscription title is Shadow Warrior, a game I would only play on PC. I added it anyway though.
Wii U
--
Game & Wario - $24, complete. This somewhat uncommon minigame collection is one I've been quite interested in, but have rarely seen a copy of. One major portion of it, a sketch-sharing game, went down with Miiverse, but the rest still can be played.

Wii
--
MySims Agents - $2, complete. (Note that the four $2 games I got today, the three Wii titles and one X360 one, were part of a buy 4 $5-or-less games for $10 offer at Gamestop. The titles cost $2 each after the car discount.) The DS MySims games are bad, but the Wii ones are decently good, so why not get this one too...
Help Wanted - $2, complete. This is a minigame collection from Hudson, with 50 minigames each themed after a different job. I got it because Hudson's games are often good.
Sled Shred featuring the Jamaican Bobsled Team - $2, complete. I didn't remember that this budget title exists, but while it doesn't look great it could be entertaining, and I like racing games so it's probably worth a couple bucks. It looks like a kart racer, bobsled style, maybe?

Genesis
--
The Berenstain Bears Camping Adventure - $4, cart only. This is a Sega Kids Club title, so it's a very simple platformer. I liked the books as a kid though so, why not...

PS3
--
Way of the Samurai 4 (European copy) - $3, complete. This is an interesting one, as this game never released on physical media in the US, only digitally (for both PS3 and PC)... but a local place had a European import copy for very cheap, so I got it. And yeah, value-wise this is a really good deal, this game sells for $20-plus online. I've been interested in trying the series, too.

Xbox 360 (plus Kinect)
--
Adrenalin Misfits - $3, complete. This is a Kinect racing game from Konami. I've been interested in playing it (since it released, pretty much) and it was cheap. It's a racing game with somewhat annoyingly "cool" animal mascot characters as racers.
Rabbids: Alive & Kicking - $2, complete. The Kinect Rabbids game is a minigame collection like might be expected. Maybe it's decent?

Xbox One
--
World to the West - $10.50, complete. This is an overhead-view action-adventure game that released last year, and I've been interested in trying it since then as I quite like the genre. It's pretty cool that it actually got a physical release, and the price here is good, only barely higher than its best PC sale price so far! So, I got it.
3DS DD - My Nintendo Rewards
--
My Nintendo Picross: The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess - 1000 Platinum Points. I've wanted this game for a long time, but without the phone games getting platinum points is a somewhat agonizingly slow process, and then sometimes some expire. So it's been, like what, since My Nintendo started that I've been trying to get enough points for this? Well, I FINALLY had over the 1000 required points, so I have this now! It sounds like a mini Picross game (only 45 puzzles), but still, I like both picross and TP, so it was a must have for me for sure.

Siesta Fiesta - 50 Gold Points. This one is a current offer, and the game looks fun and is in a genre I like (arkanoid-ish games) and I have plenty of gold points, so I got it.
3DS DD - A few game that are/were on sale earlier this week.
--
The Legend of Dark Witch 3 - $8
Pic-a-Pix Color - $3. This Picross-style game has a lot of addon puzzle DLC, but I like picross enough that I've got to get it.
