So far Paper Mario 2 has sold over 200k copies. Could be better, I guess, but's it's not too bad.
Quote:Yesterday it was reported by the Telegraph that Ubisoft were in negotiations to purchase Eidos but it has since changed, with Electronic Arts now looking to buy them. As well as Electronic Arts THQ are interested, but EA have placed a $300 million offer for the company.
It now seems that Ubisoft have reached "advanced stages of negotiation" with Codemasters. This could be good for Ubisoft as Codemasters have been known to make good games of certain genres, such as racing and sport, which Ubisoft have not.
Not much else is known about the negotiations between all the companies at present, but once something is known expect official press releases containing all the information.
Now it looks like EA is going to buy Eidos. Oh joy.
Quote:Eidos' managers have spent the last week sorting out details of a Ubisoft takeover for an estimated £215 million.
According to reports Eidos have hit financial difficulties due to the underperformance of several key games, including Hitman: Contracts. Expect an official word soon.
Seems like a lot of small companies are being bought up lately.
The first one had barely any connections and without the company name (Not quite right either its Umbrella Incorperated not corperation) and the T-Virus and the Licker I guess (And Lickers were not BOW's they were accidental should have been a Hunter) it would just be a zombie movie. Why suddenly add Jill and mention of the mansion incident. Fan outcry maybe?
I was just curious if anyone here has seen Splat!; a segmented live show on Nickelodeon. It's very similar to Slime Time Live in some respects but is more akin to Double Dare with some original content as well. I've been working on the show for over a month now in the Art Department and recently as a character "Big Scary Guy". If you see me, yes that's my real hair.
I would really appreciate any opinions or comments on the show. It's on every week day from 5 PM to 7 PM and every show has different games and segments.
