The GBA Boktai is the game with the light sensor, remember? The cart has a light sensor that senses sunlight (not lamp light, sunlight only!)... your gun charges when in sunlight, when in the light some areas are brighter, etc... it was an experiment with a unique gameplay device (though the gameplay itsself is pretty standard action-RPGish combat). The DS of course doesn't have a built in light sensor and DS cards are far too small to have adaptors on them. So it'd have to go in the GBA port (which has also been called an expansion port). Which would probably mean that it'd need both DS and GBA carts in the box, which seems like it'd raise the price... oh well.

And thank you, ABF, for explaining to me what Boktai is. I didn't know that since I never read video games news, especially news involving Hideo Kojima. And I also hate GBA games, which is why I only have a little over two dozen titles.
The DS cart could also have an attachment, ABF. Just because it's small doesn't mean that it's as fragile as a potato chip.

No, it couldn't. Look at what a DS cart looks like! It's a memory card! No way could that have anything added to it (as in something sticking out of the top of the cart like you can do with GB carts). That's why as I said Nintendo has also called the GBA port the 'expansion port'... the DS port can't handle the job.
Any DS tilt-sensor games, video/mp3/whatever addons, etc. will similarly have to use the GBA port. Though maybe with a DS card as well, who knows.
Oh, and OB1, what did this mean then, if not what I took it to?

Have you actually seen how small the Boktai light sensor is? I'm sure they could make an even smaller one for a DS cart. Just you wait and see, Mr. Higgins. Just you wait.

There are two things I know about nintendo that should never be under estimated and they are.
1.Even when your nearing 20 you are still interested to see how good the new pokemon is.
2.If it can be done, then nintendo has done it, and if it hasn't been done then it's a brilliant selling stratagy made by nintendo to do it later and get more money for it.
Hell I wouldn't be suprised if nintendo had a re-usable rocket that uses some form of gravity propulsion and they're just waiting for peoples wages to go up a few million dollars before they sell it.. I mean come on, it's Nintendo, NINTENDO!

I don't think it would be that hard to add an extenstion that would reach past the exterior of the DS with a light sensor on it. Size doesn't really have anything to do with it at all. You could have a DS cart attached to a Buick and still be able to insert it into the DS...it'd just be really hard to move around while playing.
