I mean, are you all a bunch of fucking losers? Get a life instead of reading and talking about stupid bullshit on the internet. Go out and do something you fucking nerds.
There have been a bunch of screenshots and stuff that have shown up over the past few months, but this is the first video... and it looks like classic Minter (Tempest-style) craziness. :)
Sad, depressing, and tragic story, which virtually guarantees that any happy moments won't last long? Check. Very young (they look like they're about 12... at most...) cyborg girls with guns? Check. Sinister government agencies? Of course! Yup, it's anime all right... :D
There's like some crazy stuff going on here, but look at "Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix" there! Is that the card battle system, and also one of those knights from the secret ending FMV but more existant? I expected grizzled man beard face under that. Oh well.
Also, for some reason there's some sort of crazy pirate thing all over that page.
Quote:Famitsu also had an interview with Sakaguchi, some highlights (stolen from Gaf):
- In the opening movie for Lost Odyssey you can seamlessly input commands for the battle scene.
- Combat is not action driven but command menu driven.
- The playable demo lasts for 40-60 minutes.
- The final game will have even higher quality than the demo.
- The modeling for the movies are almost identical to the realtime models.
- Inoue (the character designer) is personally checking all the models.
- The demo's battles will just the most basic part of the system. The more indepth systems will be excluded.
- The character growth systems and so on will be in the final game only.
- Surviving enemies inherit the powers of those who are killed.
- Since the main character cannot die either there will not be a possibility of game over.
- The final game will use a physics engine.
- The final text message on the playable demo was written by Shigematsu (scenario writer for the various short stories that make up the game).
- Lost Odyssey will be playable at TGS, with the demo disc being released with Famitsu in early November.
- Lost Odyssey will be out in 2007.
- Blue Dragon will DEFINITELY be released within 2006.
- ASH is being targeted for the first half of 2007.
- There will be more titles being announced from Mistwalker.
Looks pretty good...can't wait to see it in action.
I didn't know they were working on a DS RPG. Good stuff. :D
Quote:Last year tri-Ace revealed it was working on an untitled RPG for the Xbox 360, and today finally the first, scant, details emerge in the latest Famitsu issue. After its latest Valkyrie Profile for Square Enix, tri-Ace is getting its feet wet with a fantasy based RPG titled Infinite Undiscovery, which will use the developers typical real time combat system.

Quote:"Analysts are punishing Sony over its recent PS3 release delay announcement, with a number indicating that they believe the delay is just a bit too much for the market to bear. Unfortunately for Sony, they're probably right.
With Xbox 360 well and truly already established, an HD DVD plug-in coming before the end of the year, Microsoft and to a lesser extent Nintendo have the whole holiday shopping season plus the ensuing three months to themselves.
By the time PS3 makes to store shelves in sufficient quantities, there will probably be about 15 million Xbox 360 consoles in the market, many of them with piggy-back HD DVD players.
For Sony, this may be too much on a number of fronts.
Gamers, as fanatical as they are about their craft, have only so much money to spend and their pockets may well be empty by the time the high-priced PS3 becomes available in March-April. No doubt, the first batch of PS3 consoles will go out door quickly but it's the subsequent sales that matter.
Looking at it things from a high definition video player perspective, HD DVD already had a huge price advantage over Sony's Blu-ray. The PS3 was going to be a way to narrow the gap. However, that is not going to happen for at least six months now. Meanwhile, in addition to the relatively cheap HD DVD players already on the market, Microsoft will bring out a US$200 plug-in box for the millions of Xbox 360 consoles.
In addition, Toshiba just yesterday announced a new three-layer disc technology that will enable HD DVD discs to play on ordinary DVD players.
Meanwhile, it is worth bearing in mind that the reason given for the delay in manufacturing PS3 is a problem with the production process of the Blu-ray diode.
As if to rub further salt into its wounds, the Sony name in manufacturing has also suffered further pressure from the Lithium Ion battery recalls by Dell and Apple.
Sony has a reputation as one of the world's great technology innovators and manufacturers. However, 2006 will not be remembered as one of its finest years. "
