Fair enough.
CDs I've been listening to lately (since one song is just not worth posting):
Blackalicious - Blazing Arrow: Incredible. I can't stop listening to it. If it wasn't for Wilco and Interpol, this would have been my clear-cut favourite album of 2002.
Nas - Illmatic: I love "N.Y. State of Mind" but I'm still not sure if this album is the classic everyone thinks it is.
Broken Social Scene - You Forgot it in People: Fantastic indie rock. And they're Canadian!
Eminem - The Eminem Show: It's GOOD though.
Talib Kweli - Quality: "Put it in the Air" and "Rush" have some of the best hooks I've heard in ANY song, let alone a hip-hop song.
The Beatles - Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band: Been on a bit of a Beatles kick lately too, which makes an odd combination with the hip-hop. "Octopus's Garden" has to be one of the most perfect pop songs ever recorded.
