With that out of the way, let me comment on it. They have played it hands on. It seems the screen is actually the same screen used in the current GBA, which means that the light is a front light, just like the afterburner. It also seems the front light is just as good, maybe even better, than the afterburner, though it uses 3 more hours of battery life. They report that the shoulder buttons are actually more comfortable than the current GBA's buttons. I find that hard to believe, but I'll wait to see a store demo before I decide.
Oh, and by the way, silver has been renamed platinum according to this http://gamespot.com/gamespot/stories/new...85,00.html , so YES, the platinum color IS available here in America at launch MGL! Cobolt is the blue one. The other two regions get those two colors as well, but they also get one more color, the black one. Why they won't release the black one in America as well (it could match my cube) is a mystery, but oh well I want the silver one.
One thing they said is that the volume control is now a slide bar. This might be troublesome since it's on the left side, and I MAY just accidently hit it during intense play. However, if they recessed it enough like the power switch, that won't be a problem.
