Daytona USA Circuit Edition (Japanese import) - arrived from EBay. Pretty good version, but I don't know if I prefer it to the original, controls-wise... Mission Stick controls are messed up, which is really too bad. The throttle wheel controls acceleration, the A, B, and C buttons do nothing, and there's no brake it seems... ack! Not good! It's really too bad, because you really need the additional precision of the joystick to get the best controls out of Daytona. While 3D Controller mode works well this time (it is officially supported in the CE), a lot like with Dreamcast Daytona, the controls that way are very touchy and I don't like them much. The Saturn 3D Controller might be slightly better than DC Daytona, but not by enough... while with the mission stick it's great -- or it would be if the buttons worked. Bah, I don't want to have to buy a racing wheel...
Oh that note, I wonder if a DC racing wheel would give good controls in that version of Daytona, like the Mission Stick or wheel do in the Saturn versions... I know DC racing wheels do exist.
Anyway, it wasn't too expensive (like $9 or so) and was worth getting, but the control issues are too bad.
