    Quote:Nintendo Pennant Chase Baseball, developed by Exile Interactive and Nintendo, includes players from every Major League Baseball team. Players will be able to compete in all 30 current Major League ballparks, as well as in a few from the past. The game has been licensed by Major League Baseball Properties, the Major League Baseball Players Association and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, with statistics and ratings provided by STATS, Inc.

    In addition, players will hear real-time, in-game commentary and announcing from some of the best in the business. Nintendo has secured the services of veteran sportscasters Bob Brenly, Rick Rizzs and Tom Hutyler.

    Nintendo Pennant Chase Baseball will feature new game modes that combine the authenticity of Major League Baseball with the great game play that consumers have come to expect from Nintendo.

    The game is currently set for a release in the United States on April 4, 2005. No word on a European release yet.

    Huh... Nintendo hasn't done a baseball game in some time (Ken Griffey for N64, right?). Hopefully this can be good... better than those were (I know they got decent reviews, but I didn't like the GB one much and the N64 one was only okay really). Yeah, I know this is a different developer and everything so it'll be totally different, but as the last Nintendo-published baseball game I can't help but make a comparison...

    I'm very wary about a Nintendo Baseball game.

    Yeah, the Griffey game I got for GB was annoyingly hard... I also disliked how small a part of the field you could see at a time, which made catching balls in the outfield really hard, and how there's no save option between innings, only after games, so you had to play whole games...

    I didn't play it long before deciding that it wasn't nearly as good as good old Hardball III for PC. :)

    The clarify things, Nintendo is PUBLISHING it and a company called Exile Interactive [World Series Baseball 2K3] is actually making it. And, no, it's only American baseball.

    ... what? Was that some reference to Bo Jackson? Because I don't know anything about him other than the fact that he played both pro football and pro baseball, and that he's awesome for some non-reason that I decided on.

    I remember that he also played against the entire continent of Asia in a game of rugby and WON. That's how awesome Bo Jackson is. And he once bench-pressed the Empire State Building.

    No, see, he plays baseball AGAINST Jupiter. Jupiter uses it's mighty storms to hurl the ball with amazing speed and Bo Jackson's all "Nuh-uh, Jupiter! I'm gonna kick your...gaseous atmosphere? Something." and then he hits the ball into space where he then has to go and kickbox with Saturn's moons and Titan swings around at him and he kicks it and it flies into Jupiter, which explodes and destroys Saturn and then Bo Jackson is named King of All Universe.

    That would of course be the coolest thing ever, and yes that's what happens. *steals idea*

    Well this game is coming out in less than a month and half and we haven't heard anything more about it, that doesn't really sound like a good thing.
