Is there a AHTF plotline GR hasn't used yet?

If so, he should get on it!

So yeah, I have cable again and for the first time in 2 1/2 years... interesting, after getting used to being without a TV at school for so long...

Anyway, Cartoon Network has a lot of weird shows.

Oh yeah, and Boomerang is pretty cool.

ATHF, Super Milk-Chan, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi... Tom Goes to the Mayor? Saw part of one episode. Definitely strange. :)

You should watch Venture Brothers and Sealab 2021 as well.

I saw part of one episode of Venture Bros... seemed dumb... Cartoon Network is full of great shows though. And when paired with Boomerang it can't be beat...

They've also got a decent selection of anime, namely Fullmetal Alchemist and Ghost in the Shell Standalone Complex.

GITS: SAC is good, but I've seen a bunch of eps subtitled and the English version just doesn't compare... anime on TV is better if you don't watch the real thing and see how it's better in Japanese. :)

That's probably why I enjoy most of the other anime they have on that I've seen. I haven't seen those in Japanese.

Thank you!! I'm not the only one who thinks so! It's not funny at all... it tries, but it flops.

    Sealab 2021, however, is hilarious.

Yeah, it isn't. Still, the English dub is decent enough that it doesn't make watching it on Adult Swim a big pain.

Watched most of another ep of Venture Bros. right now, still not too impressed. Pirates of Dark Water on Boomerang was better. :)

    Haven't seen Sealab.

I guess. If they were new episodes I'd probably watch, too... but the two I've seen were ones I'd seen already...

Good young-superhero show: Teen Titans (I like it anyway)
Not very good young-superhero show: Static Shock (it is from WB so I've seen it before. Let's just say that it's one of those shows where I either change the channel or turn off the TV when it shows up.)

Static Shock, however, doesn't compare to the sheer awfulness of Mucha Lucha (also a show from the WB...)...

Oh yeah, and this article is completely right about G4TechTV. http://www.nintendojo.com/editorials/vie...1104864774

WB has fallen on some very hard times. Man, I really miss shows like Animaniacs, Freakazoid, and Tiny Toons.

Leo was the best... the show is a pitiful imitation of what it used to be. :(

And yes, the WB's original cartoons sure aren't any good anymore... is TMNT theirs though? That one's okay. Not as good as the old one, but that's because I was a kid when the old one was on. :) Honestly, it's probably better... except that it's a bit more serious. One of the old TMNT's charms is its corniness, I think... :D

Ah. So that's why it's better than the WB stuff. It's not WB. :)

Okay, Jackie Chan Adventures is alright... and the new Scooby Doo. Scooby Doo is good in all its versions... well, it's Scooby Doo anyway... whether that's good or bad is up to question, but it's in the tradition of the older shows. But comparing their current original lineup to past WB cartoons... yeah, no comparison. It's lucky that we have channels like Cartoon Network to make good cartoons. :)

Indeed it is. One of the reasons, in my view, that many of the Adult Swim shows are so good is because they usually have a small crew working on it and they're relatively cheap. Because of that they can experiment and do things that big-budget series with huge crews can't do. That's certainly not the only reason though, but it helps.
