I like to Cosplay casually...

So I made an Instagram account just to upload some of my nerdy cosplay ideas. It's nothing complicated, I like to keep it mostly casual wear based on some of my favorite pop culture media or whatever. I'm basically cosplaying without actually having to "dress up".

However I have no idea how to embed pics from Instagram on here... When I click the embed button on Instagram I get this long script to copy but I have no idea what to do with it or where to paste it? Do I use the "insert code" or "image" button?

Cosplay is such a strange turn of phrase.  People use to say costume or "gone costuming".  Either way though, that's interesting!  What I'd recommend is just getting the direct address of the image.  You should be able to right click on the image and select "copy image address" and then when you post here, click on the "image" button in the post toolbar and insert the address in the URL field.

"Street clothes" is an apt description for what I want it to be and that's part of the fun for me. It's like only a few people would ever know or get the reference. The first one is almost a direct translation of Elliot Page's character (Hayley Stark) from Hard Candy, I just switched the skirt for similar shorts and I don't like wearing sandals.

I wasn't really feeling it and also didn't want to be mistaken for a preppy schoolboy. Maybe I'll wear this for Halloween for a laugh.

Nice work. My guesses were ska guy and goth guy. Elliot Page in Hard Candy is pretty obscure, so kudos for your originality.

I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but for this to be recognizable, you'd need the same hair (and probably to dye it his color, unfortunately), plus the stripes on the shirt aren't quite right. To be clear, it's an original and cool idea, but given that it's so subtle, you probably have to be more precise to make it click for people.

Still, cool to see this attempted.
