I can't help but imagine playing the game and punching the guy as a joke and him getting angry at me and asking why I would hit him like that after all the things we've been through and then ranting about how my kids are little brats to his anyway as he storms back into the house and the game is basically over by that point, because you needed that NPC for a thing but didn't want to treat him with respect, like maybe he's a non-player but you don't have to treat him like a non-HUMAN.
So I guess there's something in the game that explains this? Because going just by this video it's like 'NPC says (potentially dumb) line, person hits them for some reason, NPC repeats line'. Uh, sure?
