    The game too bad for this world to comprehend finally gets a video...

    The problem with reviewing a game that bad is that it's so, SO bad that you start to run out of bad things to say about it, perhaps... but still, decent video. And that game is really, REALLY bad.

    (Oh, and Superman for Commodore 64, too!)

    Commodore was great! They had Robin hood defenders of the crown, The first Sid Miers pirates game , barbarian ect...

    I don't see how they could so horribly botch a superman game on the n64.

    Automobili Lamborghini and Roadsters were pretty awful too. Hercules wasn't exactly positively reviewed either...

    They also made gems like Titus the Fox on Game Boy, Whizz and Realm on SNES, various bad The Blues Brothers games, and more...

    Once in a while they'd manage to actually release something decent, like Prehistorik Man or Evil Zone (though that one was developed by Yuke's and just published by Titus), but not usually.

    Oh, and they bought and then killed Interplay, one of my favorite developers ever.

    Nice summary... avoiding the bad side of this E3, though (that is, the overall horribly boring nature of the event and how nothing of substance happened except for FFXIII for X360)... but oh well, he probably wasn't at the keynotes anyway, it seems. I'm sure being on the show floor would be great fun, like it clearly was for him...

    I wanted to post it first!

    First time he reviews a game Ive actually played, Batman on the NES! I was just 5 when that game came out, I remember the batman mobile intro!

    The Batman forever game, James voices the exact same source of bitter misery I experienced, We never got past the first stage! My friend got so pissed off he smashed the cartridge with a hammer untill it was dust.

    Considering the "quality" of the game, that almost doesn't seem too extreme a reaction...

    On the other hand, it was probably worth like 50 cents tradein value... :) (Though not wanting to have even the chance of having someone else be subjected to the thing would be a good reason why not to do that, perhaps... :D)

    Oh, and it is funny how obvious it is that they ripped MK2's animations straight into the game.

    I don't think they even figured out there was a grappling hook , The controls were different on the game gear but equally infuriating,The graphics were one of the few things I liked, I recall this shining projectile called the Electric Pellet that Batman had.

    He left it in a bucket for a year, Then his Hungarian friend Laszlo trying to be a hotshot persuaded him that he could figure it out,My friend made a bet that he couldn't, guess who won?:)

    Anyway he gave it a try again after , Then thats when he blew his stack.

    Nowhere near AGVN quality... :(

    Bebe's Kids certainly is one of the worst games ever, though. It's often considered one of the worst games on the SNES.

    It's the fan-written Deadly Towers review. Random maze games are one of the things I hate most about the NES, after how few of its games have any kind of saving...

    The latest AVGN was absolutely abysmal. Rolfe reading a bunch of lines written by a bunch of faux-AVGNs? Pass. What a stupid idea that turned out to be. He should stop caring about his fans so much. They aren't going to go away, and he doesn't need to try lame experiments which result in him upping his already over-the-top character into some sort of SUPER AVGN which is really a segment of his most virginal fanbase having a pissing contest to decide who can come up with the most ridiculous, horrible things that he might say. Deadly Towers was the worst AVGN to date.

    Deadly Towers: The episode was okay, and I thought it did a good job of showing how horrible that game is, but I do somewhat agree, it just wasn't as good as a normal episode of his. The main issue, I think, was that it was a lot of quotes, so it felt disjointed, not connected as a normal episode, all written by one person, would.


    Battletoads!

    ... Yes, he says it's good. But a game that brutally hard has plenty of AGVN-worthy moments... particularly in two player mode, as he does in this episode. Limited continues plus having to start the level over if EITHER player gets game over is just incredibly, incredibly cruel. Pretty good episode, I think. :)

    Gremlins was the shit!One moment your scared the next your rolling on the floor laughing so hard you shit your pants.

    The first film was a prank pulled on soccer moms to trick them into thinking it was a "family movie".

    This film helped to give us PG-13

    I wish they'd make another sequel.

    It's funny how many games AVGN reviews that I remember liking when I played them when I was younger. TMNT is the main one, but I remember renting Roger Rabbit, Dick Tracy, and Fester's Quest and enjoying them. I think I was a lot less critical back then, and my parents didn't buy me too many games so I enjoyed anything I could get my hands on. Hell, I even remember enjoying the Domino's Noid game.

    True. There are plenty of games I liked despite not getting far into at all.

    TMNT 1, for instance... never finished level two, the dam level, but I remember (mostly) liking it even so.
