You know, it kinda sucks that the duel purpose port is covered when the GCN link is being used. I mean, it's very likely that an unofficial GCN link cable will come out that removes the totally unneeded parts of it, for a simple plug in like with a GBA to GBA link cable, but it's still annoying that the official one does that cover up job. Well, it also sucks that you can't use both headphones and the power port at once for that matter. Then again, Nintendo can do two things.
For the first problem, they just need to change their official GCN to GBA cord so that it doesn't take up all that space. For the second problem, they just need to set up the head set adapter, whenever that comes out, so that it splits up into both the headphone adapter part, and a passthrough so that one can then plug in the recharge cord as well. Nintendo should do both. I never saw the point of the GCN/GBA cable taking up that much room just to be able to securly click in anyway, since the standard cable is held in place plenty well enough.
