Newer TVs generally just have the standard 3-channel red/white/yellow composite cable connectors... better than RF, but not as good as S-Video or component (component is the really high end one, right?).
Of course I'm here on a TV probably older than I am (really!), so I'm playing NGC via the composite connectors on the VCR, and the TV's mono sound. The only annoying part is how the TV cuts off the edges of the screen picture... oh well. The TV still works and is pretty big so its OK.
Does 'play while charging' mean it would work like the old Official Nintendo GB Rechargable Battery Pack? You know, the one that had a plug from the GB to a box, which was the batterypack.... and you could plug the batterypack into the wall so it'd run off wall power (and charge too, I imagine).
