32X
--
Knuckles Chaotix - from ebay. $14. This game usually goes for a little more than this, I think; I saw a copy in a local store for $18 and was considering getting it, but decided to bid on an ebay copy first (bidding less than that) and was surprised when I won. The level designs are incredibly dull and lacking almost any actual things that can damage you (pits, spikes, more than a bare minimum of enemies...), but the 3d bonus stages are pretty cool, and definitely are the best thing about the game. Also even though it is easy and kind of boring it's a playable game which looks nice and plays well, as you'd expect from a game that looks like it's running in a modified Genesis Sonic engine. Tempo is a better game than this, but there is some good in Chaotix too, even if the bad (what in the world were the level designers thinking???) outweighs it. As the only Sonic-ish game on the 32X though, I obviously had to get this eventually.
