He means to litteraly cause the PSP to fold and exit the market.
Given the current standing of things, I can see that happening. But the PSP is niching out an audience... but that audience is the same group who has to be the latest and greatest cell phones, girls with blinking pink Razors and guys with fully optimized blackberries or video phones. They're buying it because they think they want the hardware , not for the games. What Sony needs right now is something that totally seperates the PSP, that gives it an edge.
With both handhelds now on a network, someone needs to hit the market with cellphone-like interfaces. Internet phones are cheap and easy, once you buy the enitial program the service is free. Giving you unlimited calling with no monthly subscription as long as the person you're calling also has a PSP or DS.
