Quote:It's not nearly as bad as ABF makes it out to be. It is there however. Just about every kind of relationship that might be deemed taboo in American society is at the very least hinted at over the course of the series. But, that's pretty much all there is: vague hints.
Absolutely true, it is made for children, so they don't make obvious hints and children would miss the stuff they put in, intentionally I'm sure... but it is a good show, and yeah, that's not a big part of the show. Just one of many things that Japanese shows can do that American ones can't...
Quote:Well there's Yuri yuri.
I've heard of it, but haven't read any... I think, anyway... I love how they parody the real KOF game names and subtitles, though. :D ('Yuri & Friends '98: Dream Time Never Ends'? The real KOF '98's title is 'King of Fighters '98: The Dream Match Never Ends'... :D)
Quote:This was SUPPOSED to be about space travel! You suck! Et tu ABF? I admit I never saw the Japanese itteration of that show with magical cards and school children, but what the eff are you talking about?
DJ, this is TC... topic changes are required, preferably several times per page of a thread! :)
... and my first thought was kind of space related... Yuri (the RA2 character) has psychic powers and spacetime warping technology... plus, the game has Einstein's time machine, and tesla coil guns! There's even a mission in the Soviet campaign set on the moon... See, technology! And space! :D
