Yeah, you're probably right.
But not about the job seperation thing. It doesn't matter how much you care about it, you have to take responsibility for your own actions. If you took a job with the mafia doing something illegal, how sympathetic would the government be to your claim that it was "just a job and I really don't take credit for that, I seperate myself from it". The legal system may well not make such a seperation.
