As for your question, I'm trying to understand what it is he is asking. Do we translate from English to Japanese or vise versa in like dialog such as censoring and content? I think I read that question right As far as I know we write up the all the dialog here in our studio and someone else translates it into Japanese as close as posible making it sound as acurate as it can be. I'm pretty sure if there is something we say here that means something compleatly different there it will probably be changed to fit the description better. Now I'm not a hundred percent sure on this and I dont want to give you any wrong information but that is what I can deduct so far.
A few of my co-workers and myself get feedback from the Japanese testers everyday about bugs they find while playing the game. We do have a translator here that tells us what they found and we confirm their bugs and write it up and send it out to all the programers and designers. They then fix the bugs. That is a little QA type work I do.I hope this can answer your question.
