I think the commercialization of the Bible is sad. I can't speak for the publishing company, but wouldn't the real reason they want to modernize and advertise the Bible is to increase sales and profit? And why would it be okay for a publishing company to advertise the Bible in a mainstream publication and deny that to some religious organization?
