I hate it when people say realistic games are better than cartoon games or whatever.
Show me a 'realistic game' and i'll show you a cartoon. The most realistic game to date (as far as visuals) thus far is Doom 3 and it still looks like a 3-D cartoon. A 'dark' anime has the same visual appeal and density of doom 3. RE and SH still look like anime. You guys say you dislike cel shading, but if WW had an adult cel shaded Link then you'd be complaining about the art style which is what cel shading is, a highly defined art style. I dont see anyone complaining about Viewtiful Joe's cel shading which is no where near as beautiful as WW.
Viewtiful Joe is a completely cel shaded game and it looks good but WW makes it look stupid. I mean think about it, the only realistic Zelda games in existence are OoT and MM, you guys want that OoT experience and are begging Nintendo to rehash the art style. Nintendo creates something totally brand new and they get flogged for it. In fact, the only reason i'm really happy about the new Zelda's art direction is because I know sales will go through the roof but in reality i'll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed WW.
