LISTEN TO YOURSELF!
"I'm not against them speaking Spanish, I just don't want them to do it anywhere I can hear."
"I'm not anti-immigration, I just don't want anyone who can't instantly integrate to immigrate."
Etc. Those are obviously contradictory! You cannot say you don't care what they speak but don't want them to do it around you. That means that you most certainly DO care. Oh, and as I said, it's never been true that people who speak other languages integrate immediately. It has always taken generations. They always spend the beginning time in seperate areas, where their group can be together. But at some point they do integrate... it's just not happening fast enough for you. Like the world should move to your call or something?
[QUOTE]The French speak French.
The Spanish speak Spanish.
The English speak English.
The Russians speak Russian.
But the Americans are obligated to speak Portuguese, Spanish, Afrikaans, Zulu, Swahili, Esperantu, Italian, Corsican, Romanian, Russian, German, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Iranian, Turkish, Greek, Korean, Tagalog, Rapanui, Vietnamese, Mongolian, Ukrainian, Czech, Swedish and Klingon!

If you want to continue that... you know that that's an absurd generalization. In just about any other European nation, excepting possibly Italy and Germany, people learn at least TWO LANGUAGES! So they speak their local tounge and one of the major ones. I'd bet on Hispanics going in that direction.
