New Miyamoto interview (must read)!

What I get from the interview is that Miyamoto was likely very confused about the questions myself.

Here's what I think he was thinking when his translator told him the question "What about Link appearing in Soul Calibur II? That's a very violent game.".

Miyamoto's translated thoughts: Violent? But Link kills stuff all the time... Maybe they mean it's a fighting game and they find that weird...

So then he answers that Link has already been established as a fighting character in SSB. That answer doesn't make sense as an answer to us, because come on, Peach and Yoshi were ALSO established as fighting characters in that series. That answer only makes sense if he heard it as in "Fighting games aren't really Link's thing, what's he doing in one?".
