Yeah I read that. No, Nintendo of JAPAN wouldn't be that stupid. However, this is something Nintendo of America is doing... Fortunatly, since this is only on the US end, this means most games designed in Japan for online play will actually have the option of using other providers, just adding in AOL support when it's released here.
