Shogun 2: Total War Info Leaks

I never played shogun , ETW made the game a global contest and having it confined to a group of Islands in East Asia just doesn't sound very appealing.

As I said I kind of feel the opposite, that the giant scale was overwhelming, and the focused campaign of Shogun is great because it's much easier to know what you should be doing... you don't have to conquer all of Europe, just one country. :)

I loved the original Shogun, it was a great but flawed game. The scale is smaller, and the map long and thin of course, but you still have many strategic options, don't worry about that (Oh, and the original Shogun added part of Korea in the addon, so I wouldn't be surprised to see that again this time).

Why couldn't they have the next install centerd in China and its surrounding neighbors, Siam indo china, India,Japan,Mongolia,Turkestan and the silk road.

It'd be interesting to see a China one, but not every game needs to have a continental scope... though I do expect that they'll do China eventually. It's a pretty obvious one, and it'd make for a very interesting game.
