On that note, I may still think that the plot's pretty poor, but TP's gameplay is just so unbelievably great that it's in my top 5 GC games for sure now... has been since somewhere around late 2008 when I finally got around to forcing myself to play it again. Had to start over last summer (after getting to the final boss) and haven't been playing that much, but last week (when I played last) I had just reached the Snowhead temple, with the Yetis... now that's a great Zelda game. The story is not good, but the gameplay is exceptional. (Still not quite a match for OoT though... :))
I mean, handheld Zelda can be great. LA is one of the best games in the series, and I loved the Oracles games too. But somehow ST and PH just don't match up to those three for some reason, in my opinion... they're good, but not truly great.
Oh yeah, and I liked the sailing in WW. Sure the water looked boring, but sailing was fun. :)
