I finally managed to beat it, after thirty-something tries... had to blow hard into the stupid probably malfunctioning microphone which keeps either not registering anything or having trouble registering it or something causing it to sound several times or fail to sound at all, which causes failure... it's pretty hard to get the stupid microphone to work right. That might be my system, I don't know, evidently such problems do exist.

Of course, it's made worse by how bad I am at games like that and that I'm not exactly great at the 'blow on the sensor for a sustained amount of time while also carefully moving the stylus across the correct notes' thing. Quite tricky and extremely annoying. This is harder than any music in any Zelda game ever, I think... and I don't mean that as a good thing.

Anyway, the game itself is fun enough, so I'm glad that I can finally get on with it again -- I'd been stuck at this point for days now...
