The moon's radiation doesn't affect earth tides. Its gravity does. I don't think the moon emits any of its own radiation, though it it does absorb a great amount from the sun.
Which, I think, means that sunlight is what causes lycanthropy . . . reflected from the moon's surface, I guess. The amount of sunlight we get reflected from the moon is minuscule (it only reflects about a tenth of the light it receives).
The moon definitely exercises physiological effects, however, on humans as well as many other forms of life. For us, it's an evolutionary throwback to the days when our antecedental primate forebears lived on the open plain.
