Namco and Sega?

Over at the PGC forums, they say the Namco webpage says the deal with Sega is official, and that in next year, the 2 companies will actually be acquired by another company. Speculation as to whether Nintendo will make a major move here or not is rampant there.

If Nintendo buys them it will be one of the smartest moves they have ever made. But, I fear that this unknown third part will more than likely turn out to be MS or Sony. If that's true it will be very bad for Nintendo.
