Quote:Isn't Ice Age rated G?
No.
Quote:I dunno. Which one is "worse", PG or PG-13? Bear in mind I'll completely forget the order tomorrow, and that's my point.
How can anyone in this day and age not not know the difference between PG and PG-13 simply based on the types of movies they watch that have those respective ratings? It's completely and utterly mind-boggling. I know I sometimes say that when I'm actually being sarcast and facetious, but I'm being literal this time. You actually have me dumbfounded that you don't know what the difference between PG and PG-13 and, even beyond that, think that a PG and PG-13 movie have the same content.
Here's how Kids-in-Mind.com breaks down Ice Age 2 and Austin Powers 3, a PG movie and a PG-13 movie, respectively.
Ice Age 2:
Sex and Nudity = 1/10 [Essentially nothing or very minor at worst]
Violence and Gore = 4/10 [Fairly mild, but not mild enough for G audiences]
Language = 2/10 [Very minor]
Austin Powers 3:
Sex and Nudity = 6/10 [No real nudity, but lots of revealing clothes and sex-related jokes]
Violence and Gore = 4/10 [Mild violence, mostly slap-stick]
Language = 6/10 [Quite a few curse words are tossed around, but it isn't non-stop are the worst ones are mostly missing]
It's really not that hard to understand.
Sometimes you get the scorpion.
