Wow! I had heard there are some... issues... in the mystical land of Canadian parliment, but what in the name of all that is holy? Going to a homeless shelter? Yeah, that's a classic meaningless stunt a lot of politicians will go for. They do little more than make speeches and their presence has no bearing on whether or not they will act in a way that makes such shelters no longer necessary, but they try to make people like them at least (via illogical appeal to emotion). This guy seems to actively be trying to ESCAPE desirability as a candidate!
