FM Static - Three Days Later

Just 15 days until this cd comes out! And I wil be buying it at the Christian Gift Store in Coeur D'Alene Idaho, my old stomping grounds. It will be fun to be back there and shopping at that store again.

Still listening to Cowboy Bebop. I can't get enough of those soundtracks. Incredible doesn't even begin to describe them.

I'm listening right now to Mai Yamane's rendition of "Rain".

Eh, trust me, it's a good song (which is rare for Limp Bizkit).

It goes, 'No one knows what it's like...' and just kinda builds off of that.

Flaming Lips- Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots

I heard this song on the radio the other day and I couldn't stop laughing. It's this song about a Japanese girl battling evil robots. Can you get any cooler than that? I don't think so! Here are some of the lyrics to the song:

Her name is Yoshimi - she's a black belt in karate
Working for the city - she has to discipline her body -
Cause she knows that it's demanding to defeat these
Evil machines - I know she can beat them -

    Oh Yoshimi
    They don't believe me
    But you won't let those
    Robots defeat me
    Oh Yoshimi
    They don't believe me
    But you won't let those
    Robots eat me

Those evil natured robots - they're programmed to
Destroy us - She's gotta be strong to fight them -
So she's taking lots of vitamins - cause she knows that
It'd be tragic if those evil robots win - I know
    She can beat them -

Gamma Ray's No World Order! CD which I just got today. Mostly good stuff, but it gets a bit too trash-metal-y from time to time.

I disagree, this song is the most intense acoustic guitar song ever concieved. Cool As well as the best Metallica song and one of my all-time favourites.

But I've never even heard Canadian Railroad Trilogy so I'm gonna have to hear it before I pass judgement.

You like Nothing Else Matters? YOU RULE!!!!!!!! :D Yes, that's one of my favorites by Metallica too. In fact, it's probably my favorite, because... well, I kind of relate to that song. I try to relate in some way to every song I listen to and enjoy, but that song especially.

Keep in mind that there are two versions of it. One is about 40 seconds longer and is quite a bit more pedestrian in pace. The shorter one is the fast one. To get the full effect of the guitar, you have to keep in mind that the song is about the railroads.
