He looks like a complete idiot. The original design by Amano was great, but they made him look like a retarded mix between those people from "The Dark Crystal" and... and something really stupid-looking.

Dark Crystal? Never played it.
I thought he looked just fine. If you don't like the super deformed visual style, that's your problem, but I think it's great. It's the same one they are using in Crystal Chronicles.

I love the SD style, but Zidane's design was atrocious. It's like they tried their best to make him as ugly and annoying as possible. The characters in CC look just fine.

Well fortunatly it's not the popular opinion of him. Most see him as a nicely done character.

I just wonder how cool a character can be when touching a mindless, nearly-stationary spiky creature three times can obliterate your top-of-the-line Chozo-manufactured suit of assblasting warfare :D
That being said, I don't know whether to tell the truth and say no, or say yes because I know it will piss you off and send you into a rabid tirade in which you will try to, in an incredibly verbose and abrasive way, convince everyone that your opinions are right and mine are not. So yes, Zidane is far cooler than Samus :love:

Haha Weltall, you sure know how to get him angry. The guy never does know when it's all just a joke to get him mad... While I do think Samus is indeed a very cool character, and I like her better than Zidane, Zidane too looks cool. Your pic only confirmed my opinion silly :D. The hair looks awesome. I had no idea it would be that. I thought maybe it would be the face perhaps, but the hair? It's great! Sure beats the stereotypical spikey style too many main characters have.
