    Come on guys, give him a break.

    If all my party had to offer for president in 2004 were Al Sharpton, Howard Dean and John Kerry, who collectively have roughly a 3% chance of beating Bush, I'd need political cartoons to make me happy too.

    Its not hillarious or anything, but funny... and completely accurate.

    Of those 6 the first and fourth ones are funniest.

    Oh, and the Democrats have a good chance. The last numbers were something like 62/38... better than the same time in '91, when Clinton was at just 30%...

    Yes, but Clinton didn't have as much internal opposition as there is now. How many Dems are shooting for this? A dozen? And none of them really have a viable platform.

    Kerry and Sharpton frighten me though. Those guys are so far out in left field that it makes me shudder that such imbeciles could ever be in a position of power. And Dean isn't really much better.

    There are 9 candidates, but 3 of them have no chance and know it. Oh, and the ones I like most are Kerry and Dean. Kerry is good, but was so wishy-washy on the war and I didn't like that... he really 'er, uh''ed his way through it without actually saying definitively if he really supported it or not... wanting to have it both ways I'm sure. But other that that he's pretty good. I also like Dean... he was much better on the war and like Kerry is right on a lot of the issues. Kusinich is good too, but way, way too liberal to even win the primary...

    What I can't understand is if Democrats are anti-racist, why do they even give Al Sharpton a platform to speak on? That man is so bigoted against white people... and he hates gays too.

    And yet the Dems have little problem with him. Odd. When David Duke tried to run as a Republican, other Republicans destroyed his campaign efforts, including Bush.

    Just goes to show you how liberals really feel about racism: It's okay as long as it's only directed at whites.

    Oh, and he has a "platform" because anyone in the party who wants to run can run. Its not like you can say "we don't like you much so don't run" and have people like Al Sharpton listen...
