I don't really believe their apology either, they're just trying to get people less mad at them and I'm sure they will try again. And yeah, they're still killing the PSP, huh. I presume that you will still be able to buy crossbuy titles, which most digital PSP titles are (PS1 Classics and PS Minis), so yeah that's not many PSP digital exclusives that will be going away. I may get a few more but it's not a long list. It's still unfortunate and not great, but looks less bad compared to shutting down all three at once.Being as fair to Nintendo as I'm willing to be, they gave YEARS of warning compared to Sony's cageyness about it until just a couple months before three major stores went down at once. It isn't a difference in kind, but a difference in scale.
Meanwhile though, my main reaction thought is that I wish Nintendo as this reactive to their fans! Their shutdowns of the Wii and DSi estores went exactly as planned regardless of some fan unhappiness, after all. Too bad...
And yes, my DSi and Wii are both hacked now. I did manage to get most of the stuff I was interested in. Also, I'm afraid "PS Minis" left the store already long before this and went largely unnoticed by mainstream gaming press.
