Geez, sounds like Maine's going backwards. Yes, let's treat homeless people like they're criminals. They don't have homes, people! That's why they live the way they do! Moral idiocy...
In the mean time, Ohio's referendum succeeded, but it looks like the republicans in the state house intend to just.. ignore it and loudly shout that an amendment to the state constitution isn't valid, didn't repeal any laws, and all those laws MUST be respected because they say so.
The republicans really are worse than any party, including themselves, in the history of the country when it comes to actually caring about democratic results.
