Never mind Mike Pillow, DeSantis (which I think is a word that means "to remove Santa or Santa-like qualities") is now a human trafficker that abandoned uncared for people, both adults and children, on the side of the road like they were unwanted dogs, all in the name of... sarcasm basically. The guy's CRUEL political stunt has backfired and he's now under investigation, but I have better news than that. Those poor people have been taken in by the people around Martha's Vinyard (and other areas that UnSanta sent immigrants to) and an emergency refugee camp has been set up for them. I do hope they're allowed to integrate into that community and are deemed legal citizens soon. What a horrible cruel thing to do...
Remember this. DeSantis is nothing more than another Trump, and more Trumpian figures will emerge in the coming years. Even if Trump died today we would not be rid of the mindset or the weaknesses in our system that allowed him to come to power in the first place. The enemy isn't Trump, it's fascism, and we must root out all fascists from positions of power. I'd even go so far as to say that the danger their words pose to society justifies a ban on that kind of speech. We don't have absolute free speech in this country. Libel, direct inciting to violence, and lies that lead to dangerous behavior (yelling fire in a crowded theater) are already illegal.
