It seems a whole lot of women in Kansas preached to their fellow church goers just how evil abortion was, walked into a voting booth, and voted to protect their rights in secret.
What the republican representatives never understood was the ability for rural American to keep a hypocritical secret. It's to our benefit. But, and here's where it gets important, get ready for republicans to start singing about how maybe the real issue is secret ballots themselves. Maybe, for securing our voting process you see, of course, we should be able to see just how someone votes after all. Sure there's going to be some, ahem "unintended" consequences like someone not truly voting for what they want out of fear of punishment from their surrounding community, but, well it's all for making sure our election process is "secure", right? Yes.
