New ideas constantly rotating in is a feature not a bug. I get it, you like some of them, but there are ALWAYS competent replacements, always. There is going to be someone that can take their place with a fresh perspective. The most important thing is to prevent stale systems of power from forming in the first place and get out all those people who treat elections like some game.
As for the courts, here's the ultimatum the democrats should make. Either we do the reasonable thing and implement term limits for the supreme court, or we're going to pack this thing and play by your rules. Democrats need to be willing to at least threaten to play dirty. We're at that point now. The high ground isn't getting us anywhere.
