My childhoods! I think it's great that they both seem to have such huge respect for each other, and then they both just goof off and pay some homage to Charlie Chaplin and then Miyamoto plays with a Star Fox muppet! (He's surprisingly adept at it.)

The Muppets... hmm. I know Sesame Street, but not really any Muppets outside of that; I never watched whatever else they were in. And even Sesame Street, I did watch it sometimes, but because we didn't have a TV at home until I was 8 (and that year was in Europe, so 1 year later for American TV), I wasn't watching it much when I was little -- TV was only for when we were on vacations and such. And on top of that, I definitely remember liking Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood more than Sesame Street; it was the better show.

Still though, this was a great video, yeah. Miyamoto was obviously very happy and interested to be there. Good stuff. :) I didn't know Chaplin had anything to do with whatever studio they're at, though... is it one of the big studios or something?

Oh yeah, the Henson company did the puppets for Farscape, didn't they. I loved that show!

But Sesame Street most assuredly had better puppets.

At any rate, I'm kinda shocked so many at this forum never saw anything muppet related as a kid. Never saw the Muppet Show? Muppets Take Manhatten? The recent movies? Heck, even SOME of their 90's era movies (where they turned to recreating old stories) were fairly amusing.

I said 'never', but it's probably likely that I did watch the Muppets Show sometime when I was a child a few times. I have no memory of it, but it probably happened, it was probably on a lot. It obviously didn't leave much of an impression, though, presuming that I did. :p I have definitely never seen any of the movies.

As far as the characters, I know Kermit and Miss Piggy because they're in lots of ads and stuff, but I couldn't tell you the names of any of the other muppets, or what they were.
