This I got from ebay. Yes, I got an American Turbo CD game, because there is way too much text to want to play this game in Japanese. I considered paying more for a complete copy and maybe should have done so, but... this game is pretty mediocre, I couldn't justify spending any more than I have to for it. I like having the game but probably made the right choice here, a copy with a case would cost least $30-plus more.
Exile TurboGrafx-CD, TCD 8/31/21 from ebay Disc Only $73.00
Then more recently, I bought two brand new games, and a couple of other titles I saw while looking for them. Yes, I got the new WarioWare and Cruis'n games, and I have been playing them! And yeah, they're good. Nintendo has the best consoles. I mean, my Xbox Series X is nice enough, and it has better graphics, but the games? Sure, there are a lot of good games there, but none I want to play as much as games like these. Note, I got these games 10 days apart because finding a copy of Cruis'n Blast proved quite difficult. I only finally managed it after more than a week of looking. I almost gave up and bought a digital copy, but am glad I didn't, it's a great one to have physical.
On WarioWare, it's pretty good but I'm finding the 'you control a character' concept more frustrating than past games in the series. I like this game, but.., yeah, sometimes figuring out what to do can be really hard, and some characters have massive disadvantages in some of the games that make successfully completing them once the time limits get tight way too hard. The mode you unlock after finishing the story mode doubles down on the most frustrating elements of the game, too -- it's a weekly challenge mode with online ranking. Still, though, it's certainly a good enough game that any series fan should get it.
As for Cruis'n, I will say more about it for sure elsewhere, but I am particularly thrilled that Cruis'n Blast actually released on consoles. Arcade racing games have been something we have very badly lacked for a long, long time now and it is incredibly exciting that this game EXISTS! It's just awesome that it was released on Switch and the game is a whole lot of fun. This is a very simplistic and short-lived arcade game that is a total blast to play, buy it today! And while it is simple, there is enough challenge here and stuff to unlock to keep you coming back for a decent while. It's a fantastic game which looks outstanding for Switch and plays great.
