I'm definitely thinking of getting an HGST hard drive for my PC next, then. Sounds good.

Electric Car Racing - $1. Oddly, even though the X360 XBL Indie Games store has been shut down, for some reason three XBLIG games (of the 3300+ that were released for it) can still be purchased, including this one. I never did go into that store before its shutdown a few months ago and get any of them, unfortunately. The other two games still available cost more and have PC versions, but this doesn't and I like racing games and it's one dollar so I got it.
So here's a thing that says a lot about how much game sizes continue to increase. I'veh ad that 2TB drive for the 360 for about a year now. When I got it, the system's 4GB internal flash was of course about full, and the 500GB internal hard drive also was mostly full. Now, that 2TB external has about 105-110GBs of stuff on it, plus some stuff I moved over from the internal drive to free up some space there. 360 games just aren't that large, so even with getting a bunch of digital games for the system this year, thanks to Games with Gold and also other purchases, 'only' a bit over a hundred gigs is filled up. I own about 150 digital X360 games, and they're all installed, plus a few dozen demos and a few freemium games on top of that.
Meanwhile, on the Xbox One, I started with a fairly large library thanks to Games with Gold, so I've got like 78+ games, not counting the various things Rare Replay installs, and then added to that a bunch of freemium games and some demos. I've got like 118 things installed on my Xbox One right now. And... the internal 500GB drive is full, and I've got 1TB of free space left on the external drive. Because hard drives are not the actual size they say that means that there is actually some 800-900GBs of stuff on that drive, but still, I think that really shows how much game sizes have increased -- fewer games are taking up a lot more space. But when game sizes have gone up from 6 to 8 GBs on the high end last gen to 50+ GBs this gen, that's going to happen.
