    This is complete nonsense. I'm not buying the digital version of Magic: The Gathering card packs just on the off-chance I get some "rare item".

    You don't HAVE to buy anything. Any gun or item in TF2 can be crafted using scrap parts you find by playing the game FOR FREE.

    Yes, BUT, the person with the bigger bank account gets an unfair advantage in getting this stuff faster in the online game. That's the big problem I have with this particular thing. It's already kinda lame in single player games, but at least there I'll just tough it out and earn my stuff the "old school" way. Here, doing that means more chances for the guy who power ball'd their way to blow open my head with the ultra space satellite.
