I just got it today, despite the warnings of a few co-workers.

I came to the decision that my co-workers are fucking lunatics because this is the best animated film I've seen since Metropolis. I loved how you got the feeling that in the two hours I spent watching this movie I felt like I experienced an entire season of a series. It was loaded with depth and character, it was funny and depressing. It was simply a work of art. Even the English dubbing was superb.

It's just incredible. You all need to see this... immediately.

Funny note: The girl who voices Chihiro is the girl in the videotape in "The Ring". :)

Yeah, I saw it a month or so ago when it was in theaters. Pretty good movie. What did your cow-orkers say about it?

Yup, superb animated film. Did you also pick up Castle in the Sky and Kiki's Delivery Service (stupid name, great anime)? Each DVD comes with a $2 coupon for each title, so you buy one, use the coupon for the next one, and repeat. Oh and walmart has them for $17 each. Or at least they did last week.

I have Castle in the Sky and my brother has Kiki's Delivery Service and Sprited Away.

They're all amazing movies. Everyone should watch them.

I couldn't believe it when I read the credits! Mark Hamill as the bad guy in Castle in the Sky!!

    Mark Hammill?
I have a really cheap old movie that I bought on DVD for $3CDN called Slipstream and he was the villan in that, strange everything I've seen him in other than star wars where he played a super hero he's been a villan.
I've been meaning to get theses movies, my grandmother was looking for the movie to buy for my brother months ago because she had read about it but didn't relize it wasn't on video yet and the other two sound good as well

Mark Hamill is the King of voice-actors. He did the superb Joker in the 90's animated Batman series, Larry 3000 from Time Squad, the Green Goblin in the 90's spider-man series, Wolverine in the new multi-console Wolverine game, a bunch of voices for that crappy Cow and Chicken show, and a countless number of other animated series and video games. The full list is here: http://us.imdb.com/Name?Hamill,+Mark

3 dollars Canadian?! Isn't that like 10 cents in American money?

    Quote:Larry 3000 from Time Squad

WHAT?! I've watched that show all the time I never would have guessed it was him!!

He was also Ripburger in Full Throttle.
