Glenn Beck is either crazy or a really good showman, that's for sure...

I mean, he didn't actually grow up crazy right. He converted in the late '90s from being a radio DJ who did drugs and didn't care about politics to Mormonism and the hard right... and still radio, but with popularity he'd never had before.

So yeah, if it was a heartfelt change, it sure was one good for his career. And either way he still calls himself an entertainer... you know, his all-purpose out whenever anyone says "but what you're saying isn't true!" The response of course is "I don't need to tell the truth, I'm just an entertainer."

And anyway, the real problem are the people who believe everything he's saying. Idiotic demagogues like that don't matter unless people are paying attention to him... and unfortunately, in America today some people ARE. And those crazy-right nutcases are the ones to watch.

So... I guess IP addresses are sufficiently predictable enough that you can block regions with them now? That sucks... They should be like, randomly randomized to the randomest extreme so no one knows anyone's anywheres.

As for the lockout thing, yeah, obviously that .ca site auto-sends you to the main (US) comedycentral.com site if it detects an American IP. Lockouts are definitely annoying...

Yeah I caught that, but I kinda missed all the humor because I was still recoiling in horror at the opening scene... THEY DID NOTHING! COWARDS!

The beginning of that episode was indeed disturbing. But yeah, the Glenn Beck spoof was pretty good. The ending with Wendy playing along with the whole Smurfs thing was the best part.
